Pleasantly surprised to find the pit toilets not only extremely clean, but smelling great with air fresheners. More than a half dozen rolls of toilet paper provided. Quite impressed. Ran into a couple on the PCT the next day that avoided this campground due to poor reviews; so I guess somebody really turned this facility around. Great job to whoever is responsible. Nice to see someone show that degree of care.

So glad the camp survived the fires! Campground in pretty good shape. Still no water, but used river water for general use. Water available at other site if needed. Great time was had by all. Bugs not bad.

This campground is at a great spot along the river, very quiet in comparison to some of the others in the area. Most of the spots appeared pretty private. Our spot (3) was private, large, and good access to the bathroom. Not great water access unless you are on the water side, but easy to find other access in the area by car. Looking forward to returning here and getting a site with water access (8, 15 & 16)!! No cell service was a good excuse to turn the phone off.

Well-maintained campground with a conscientious host. Nice sites on a bustling river. Very clean bathrooms. So great to be next to the hot springs.

This campground is one of our favorites. It is so nicely wooded and the sites are roomy and private. River access great too. We were very happy that the campground was not badly damaged in the Labor Day 2020 fires.The hosts are typically very friendly and do a great job keeping things looking nice.

My campsite was beautiful, and exceptionally clean. Campground was quiet, clean and well kept. The vault toilets were the cleanest I have experienced anywhere. Host was friendly and helpful. A wonderful experience!

While finishing setting up camp, a man was walking their dog off leash. Due to our dog being attacked multiple times by off leash dogs, I kindly asked the man if they could leash their dog. They rebutted and asked if ours were leashed. I said, "Absolutely, 100% of the time." To which he replied, "I hope so, I'll be watching you." He then got irritated, walked into my campsite and said, "I am the camp host and your tent is in vegetation. Either move it immediately or I will call someone and have it removed for you." Taken aback, I said nothing. His body language was tense and his fists were clenched. At that point, we were scared. My wife and I tried to move our tent but fell multiple times due to exposed roots (and broke the zipper of our tent in one of those falls). The only place to move it was the driveway.At this point, we opted to sleep in our tent overnight, pack up most of our stuff, and break camp in the AM due to concerns about safety -- we could not leave immediately due to poor night vision. While moving our tent, the camp host drove by a few times in his loud golf cart, pulling into nearby empty sites and turning around/slowing down when he got near our site and sped up once he was past our site. Emotionally and physically exhausted, we went into our tent immediately, secured it, and attempted to sleep.The host continued to d rive past our campsite approx 6x overnight.We did not feel safe given the state of the world and given the body language and tone of the camp host. It is so hard to describe via a review but we are still shaken.It is also worth noting:-He declined to give us his name-We did not have cell phone reception-My wife and I both present as non-binary. I'm not sure if this was a factor and I'd like to hope it wasn't.-There is currently an extreme fire restriction and associated campfire ban. The campsite across from ours had a campfire without intervention from the camphost.

Beautiful, quiet campground. Sites are far apart and offer privacy - many sites are on the river. No running water - the last fire took out the water system. Would go again.

Great spot! It was a quiet and peaceful site with Impressively clean bathrooms. Decent access to stream.

For site #12 there was no access to the river, there was a chain link fence preventing access. Otherwise the site was SUPER quiet ( even with a huge group next door). I was camping in my SUV, but if you have a tent the ground didn't look super flat/ tent friendly. Was a great escape from the 4th fireworks in town and sooooo quiet.

Love this campground! While there was no water at this time, the campground has new fire pits and cement tables and the bathrooms were nice and clean. Some sites are a little overgrown (it’s been about two years since people have camped here) and some have lot of downed trees, the campground is quiet and peaceful. The camp host was also friendly and helpful. Would absolutely recommend camping here.

The fact there Was no running water we had to cancel our trip but we’re unable to get a refund due to the website not working

Nice clean camp, it’s lovely to hear the river and be so close; but no where to wade in. Very rocky. It makes I hard to fish or enjoy the river.

Camp host is a A+ Guy. Works hard. The water supply situation made it kind of an issue. Looking forward to the government to fix it.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
