Everything was great except the bathrooms were unusable. Ive been to the site many times and specifically checked the bathroom, they were usually pristine. For my personal rental on sept 6th and the whole weekend they were not cleaned and they were HORRIFIC. I dont really understand why and there was nothing we could do to fix it so we just couldnt use them.

We camped here with 10 kids for a birding trip. It's a fine campsite, but not the best I've been to. The vault toilets and site was very clean. The hosts were nice. The forest site does not have much shade at all near the picnic tables. There are also no bear boxes, which is astonishing since this is a group site for a lot of people who have a lot of food! Please put bear boxes here to store food. We had to jam our cars full of food which was not ideal for taking day hikes in the area with a group of kids. In addition, if you do not swing the gate shut, random people will drive through this campsite and use the vault toilets. We had to make sure the gate stayed shut (it doesn't lock).

Absolutely LOVED having our wedding here at windy point!! The weather was amazing (thankfully)! The only down side was we got rentals for our wedding and we had a man there getting very angry with everyone that was helping set up and refused to let them “hide” the picnic tables and so we had to have them On the corner of the gazebo. Which definitely wasn’t aesthetically appealing for our vision. We were quite confused because we have talked too and seen others have their wedding there and they were able to hide the picnic tables and didn’t have a man yelling at everyone.

I love this place. We got lucky on timing and were able to have a fire in the fire ring before the Stage 2 fire ban. It lives up to its name… usually windy at some point. So much room for tent camping up on the hill. Next time, if we can swing it, we’ll rent out the group spot adjacent to it because they kept driving through our camp. It wasn’t a big deal, and I’m pretty sure at least one of our friends accidentally drove through their camp. The bathrooms were as clean as they get, and it was nice to have the bear proof dumpsters on site.

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
