Beautiful location, despite recent fire damage. Bathroom was infested with an insect hatch and not useable. Maps of area's hiking trails were not distinct and signage for the trails lacked. Sites were will maintained and quiet.

Great location, close to Diablo Lake, sites well situated in the woods which was great since temps were in the 90s. Nice trails from the campground!

This was a very clean campground and it was close to the North Cascade Visitor Center, Skagit River and within biking distance of the General Store, the dump station was a bonus!

After Labor Day weekend things calmed down a lot. Smaller crowds, centrally located in the cascades and super campground. Good Verizon service.

Location is great and overall quiet. Loved the campgrounds and sites. Dump station and water fill nearby. My biggest complaint is the bathrooms. The trail pit toilets were cleaner than these. The amount of bugs and flies were unreal. Must have been 1000+ after dark.

123 place with direct access to the river. Far from neighbors. Big trees with shed

Campground was nice, clean and easily drive-able. Easy access to the North Cascades and the views within it. A nice loop walk around the Skagit River and a creek nearby as well as Ladder Falls.

Nice quiet camping close to North Cascades NP Visitor Center. Would stay there again.

Beautiful walk-in campsite! Easy to jump on the trail to the Skagit River as well. Bathrooms had flush toilets and running water in the sink (however, the outlets did not work for charging things). Can walk to visitor center as well.

Nice spot! Perfect driveway to back into with a picnic table at the end of it. Would recommend!

We had a great campsite, nice to have dishwashing sink, we only wish we could have stayed longer but nothing else was available

Clean & easy to reach facilities, great campsite, an absolutely gorgeous river walk right next to the campsites. My dog and I had the best morning coffee walk ever. Perfect weather too, although they don't get credit for that one ;)

We were lucky to get a spot at this campground for a night, and wish we could have stayed longer. Walking distance to the visitor center and trails by the river were nice way to wind down in the afternoon/evening. Its also a short drive to Diablo Lake and several trail heads in the area. The campground was clean. Would definitely stay here again

Loved the campsite, nicely secluded, liked having the Skagit General Store nearby. Only negative was that we had a downpour of heavy rain and the tent site had a dip in it and we ended up in a puddle, there was nowhere else to pitch the tent.

This campground is close to the visitor centre and well suited for a visit to North Cascades NP and Mount Baker NRA. The toilets were good and there is a nice trail around the campground. Note that some of the tent pads are actually quite close to each other, even though the entries to the sites from the road are further apart. There seemed to be some very nice walk in sides along the river too. There is also a shelter in case of bad weather, which is great! Would definitely come again.

It was nice to be close to the visitor center. Flush bathrooms are always a plus when camping!

Gorgeous campground! Very easy trail to take you to the river, which was amazing. Spacious campsites with privacy and clean bathrooms. Good Verizon and AT&T service. Close to the visitor center and general store plus multiple easier hiking trails. Loved it here.

We tent camped in the walk in sites along the river (3 nights). We brought a small garden cart and glad we did. It made it way easier to pack all our camping stuff down to the site and haul water in our 5 gallon jug. Overall, the site and bathrooms were very clean. I rarely see bathrooms so clean in campgrounds. The walk in sites were also very quiet and private with the sound of the river flooding out noises. Recommend the small hikes, especially the one into Newhalem. It goes by a hydroelectric building with signs describing the history of the dams in the area. The Tree Walk is also cool, good signage describing the various trees. We made it our base camp for paddling diablo and hiking Ross. I would stay there again.

Clean and dry. Too close to other campsites, but luckily everyone respects quiet hours.

Clean bathrooms, Nice trails nearby.

The camp host was very friendly and helpful. It was disappointing that someone stated a fire at the river raft put in at Goddell Creek. That was our main purpose for visiting. Also, no campfires made it a little less fun, but very understandable. The bathrooms were clean, but often required waiting in line, and no supplies. There were thousands at bugs/knats to clean up before using. Paper towels would have helped a great deal. The scenery, including the color of the Skagit River was breathtaking! We will be back someday. Thank you!

This is a lovely campground in a beautiful area. Our campsite was spacious, private, and in general was very quiet. The restrooms were clean (if you don't count the bugs that come in to hang out at night!). Also, cell reception was good. I would make sure to check with the host when you arrive, as signs said no wood fires but propane fires were okay, but the host came by to tell us propane fires were not permitted, and our tealights had to be put out. I would recommend this campsite.
@DonnaC2645170 · Camped on Jul 31, 2024 at Campsite #101
Terrible site for a tent. The tent pad was sloped toward a ravine and within 10 feet of the driveway to the site next door. The site offered no privacy. Also, this part of the campground had a fire and parts of it still looks like burned out woods.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
