If you are planning to use this site as a wedding venue, be prepared for an emotional and logistical rollercoaster. In the end, we had the wedding day of our dreams and couldn't be happier with how well it turned out, but it wasn't always clear we would get to this point. - Be prepared to do some cleaning up before your event, since other users have unfortunately left trash behind. Always Leave No Trace! - Bring your own water and trash bins. We rented a trailer with a locking door to be our bear-proof "dumpster". - I recommend table cloths for the picnic tables, since many of them have splinters/holes and need to be repainted. - There are about 9-12 mostly flat spots for tent campers among the trees surrounding the meadow. The middle of the meadow has a gradual slope, tall grass and is not idea for tent camping. - Allen, the Campground Host at the nearby Mt. Timpanogos Campground, was incredibly helpful and nice. - While away from the site, keep your valuables locked in a car. Stewart Falls and Mt. Timpanogos hikers frequently walk through the space and we found strangers helping themselves to our coolers and trash bags. (Like, who the heck does that?) As others have stated, this is such a beautiful area and we were so grateful to have our big day in the mountains with our friends and family.

I booked this campground to have a small private wedding with my family and friends. This campground is way overpriced for what is included. The camp host is up the mountain at a different campground. Doesn’t not monitor anything that goes on. The gate is closed to the parking lot(that is where the campers are supposed to park) -not sure how they think you can park 25 campers in there. They also have no designated campsites for tents. They only have one fire ring. The bathrooms are opened once you check in but you will have random people walking through the campground to use it… doesn’t matter what time of day it is. Then we had some teenagers come and pop up a tent at 10pm and start using our firewood and claimed they didn’t know they were supposed to reserve it. We tried putting up signs saying the wedding was a private event and the forest service came over and said it wasn’t allowed even though we rented the space. This site is misleading, the actual amphitheater is not included in the site reserved. Extremely disappointed with the respect of people and with the amount we paid for the site for what was actually there.

We had our wedding here and it is a gorgeous spot for a group event. The theater is a fun addition to an already beautiful site, and we had our wedding ceremony and dance on the stage. Unfortunately, the water pump wasn't working and we only found out last minute, so had to scramble to bring in enough potable water. The picnic tables are also getting a little worn out, but still functional.

This is such a beautiful place. I had my wedding here. We reserved the group campsite and held our ceremony on the stage even though the stage wasn't able to reserve. Unfortunately there had been some graffiti that had been not quite all the way cleaned off which is of course not the parks fault. The water spigots are turned on the beginning of June but by the 7th water still wasn't flowing consistently. Otherwise the day turned out beautifully and I'm so grateful to have been able to have such a special day in these gorgeous mountains.

The site was nice, but the information on Theater in the Pines said there would be water. None of the spigots worked so that needs to be updated. We had to drive. down the canyon to get more water due to the misinformation.

Beautiful place! We had our campground wedding here and it was fantastic - stage is perfect for dancing, picnic area and firepit is perfect for dinner and hanging out. Fantastic hiking from the site.

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
