Clean and easily accessible site. Plenty of wood to collect nearby. Close to several trailheads and world class views.

It's a beautiful campsite. My only complaint is the Timpooneke Road passes right behind it and you hear a lot of activity late into the evening and early in the morning. But otherwise, we loved our stay. Very nice, clean campground with lots of shade. We will be back!

You have great camp hosts. The site was clean and the restrooms were always well-kept. The camp hosts drove around enough to ensure the noise was down and the location was peaceful. One of the best sites that I have been to.

Site was super clean as was the pit toilet. Very friendly and conscientious camp host, even asked for our lifetime senior pass! Our site gave us some privacy, we saw a moose. The wildflowers were still in bloom and we had a wonderful rain storm at night to cool things off

If you have never stayed at Timpooneke definitely add it to your list - this is one of the most beautiful sites in Utah!! Sites 1 & 2 have a stream that run right next to them you can play in. We stayed at camp site 5 which is a bit more removed from the rest of camp. You will have to walk a ways to the restroom and you are visible from the Timpooneke trailhead parking lot but that didn't bother us. The accessibility of the site was great. Everything was clean, well cared for, and the hosts Mike and Nola are among some of the best. I would recommend you come prepared - you are in the high country and towards the end of the summer you may encounter more wildlife. Bring bear spray if you can, clean up your site nightly, keep all food & coolers in your vehicle at the end of the day, and NEVER eat in or near your tent. We loved this site and can't wait to come back next summer.

If youre staying at a Site with a Yurt you must track down the camp area hosts. There is nothing on the website or in the directions and instructions on your receipt. We spent 45 minutes driving around trying to find Mike and Nola. Make it easier on every camper and give those instructions and details in the receipt

My husband and I really enjoyed our time at Timpooneke. The camp site was very clean as well as the restroom (it even mostly smelled good!) The camp hosts were great.

Love the area. Beautiful views, excellent hiking. Very clean Yurt (didnt really know what to expect, its basically just a tent with beds in it, the mattresses could be better).

This campground is super well maintained! The camp hosts are really kind and the spots are huge and clean. The bathroom is the nicest bathroom ive seen at any campground! We had spot number 6 so it was right by the entrance/road and it was pretty loud all night with everyone driving by on their dirt bikes. Other than that it was great!

The hosts were great and the campsite, yurt and bathrooms were all tidy!

The Timponeke campground was great! It was a good spot to get away from the heat in the valley. After spending the night there, we did the Timpanagos cave tour in the morning.

The yurt was a great option with small kids!

We recently stayed at this amazing campsite in the mountains and had an unforgettable experience! We were set up in a yurt at campsite 30, which was clean and beautifully maintained. The setting was absolutely stunning, with a cool, refreshing mountain climate that was a welcome escape from the heat of the valley below.Our campsite had a gorgeous stream flowing through it, adding to the serene atmosphere. We couldnt hear or see any other campers, making it feel like our own private oasis. The time spent with my wife and our five boys was magical. We made wonderful memories cooking dinner and roasting s'mores over the campfire.One of the highlights was hiking up to Scout Falls, which provided breathtaking views and a fun adventure for the whole family. Playing around the campsite, exploring the natural beauty, and just enjoying each others company made this trip truly special.Overall, this campsite exceeded our expectations in every way. We highly recommend it for anyone looking to escape into nature and create lasting family memories. We cant wait to come back!

Site 20 is right next to the adjacent site, but if you are rent camping it has a great hidden spot couple feet into the trees. Definitely recommend if you have kids. Plenty of shade and close to the water and bathroom.

Beautiful, quiet and serene. Campsite was perfect with plenty of cover from the fellow campers.

This was a beautiful campground in the middle of a forest. No flushing toilets but they did have potable water spigots. It was a great experience, definitely going back.

Very beautiful campground, a huge and private campsites, nice camp hosts, everything was good except 2 things: 1. an awful noise from firefighters cutting trees down. We understand that it was a necessary job, but at least they could not do it on weekend when people were trying to get a rest after working hard during the week; 2. the dumpster, which is located far away from campsites, was full and locked, so we were forced to take our garbage to home. We did not stay for free, we paid for garbage disposal too.

The campground its self was fine but it was extremely noisy for us. Lots of cars driving by late at night. The RV next to us had their generator on till midnight and then some kind of motor running all night long. Forest service was cutting down trees all day.
@BenS5147247 · Camped on Aug 5, 2023 at Campsite #14
Excellent camp site, very well run and managed. Facilities and the yurt were extremely clean, and the bathrooms even smelled good, which is rare. Camp hosts were pleasant and very helpful. Check in and check out was fast and efficient. Location to trails was great. Most of all, the views, scenery, and wildlife sightings created am excellent experience.
@DianeG8220182 · Camped on Jul 30, 2023 at Campsite #2
Best group site I've ever used. Shaded, off the road(You drive through a stream to get to the private parking area), so quiet. The hosts were awesome. Did I mention a stream right through your camp! Beautiful.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
