I had the best time and the best night sleep Ive ever had a spot number 19 is my favorite hike. Just passed a fire ring up the hill and then down a bit and there is enough room for two good size tents . We had a killer storm that night and our area stayed safe listening to the creek as I slept. Oh my gosh cant wait to return.

The area is beautiful but not appropriate for large motorhomes or RVs, mine came back scratched up on the right side. Also it's only for dry camping, I wish there was an area with full hook ups. Good for camping or day use, beautiful surroundings and really nice nightscape.

Amazing experience, highly recommend. Site 56, 57, 58 are my favorite.

Our favorite place to camp, always a fun experience.

Beautiful area! Paved nearly the whole way. We stayed in site #30 wonderful site other than the bench was broken on the picnic table.

We were in spot 56 or 58 or something. Had to walk a bit to the campsite . Was right next to the bathroom though. There was really no one and is at all. Lots of shade. Best site we've had. Bathrooms were plenty stocked, even had a small garbage in the girls, which is appreciated. They were stinky though. Water was on and his to go

Site was great and we loved the shade through most of the day, but the campsite partially flooded.

The campsite we occupied (6) was very shaded. The campgrounds are well kept. We enjoyed quick trips to Tibblecreek Reservoir, Silver Lake Falt Reservoir and Timpenogas cave national monument.

The campground is beautiful & our site #3 was great except we were next to the camp hosts. If you enjoy the quiet mornings & want to hear the water flowing, don't stay by the hosts. 6:30 AM every morning they run their generator! It's clearly allowed as quiet hours are 10pm-6am but there's camping etiquette. Not to mention the greeting we received was a bit aggressive. We mentioned we were going to have another vehicle which is $10 extra per night. We said no problem & offered to pay then but she needed their license. As soon as my kids pulled up (we weren't there) she said you'll have to pay $20 but my kid only had $9 & she said someone has to pay asap. She wasn't friendly & quite honestly her unwelcoming way & the 6:30 am generator alarm would steer me to not stay there again. They are the camp hosts at site #4. Try not to stay near them. Unfriendly! There were other little annoyances but that was the biggest. The title camp "host" should remind them they are hosting families on vacation. People who want to create nice memories. No need to be rude. (Read Google reviews, I guess I'm not the only one)

Granite Flats was great. Our site was perfect and had plenty of room. It was quiet and secluded. We didnt have a tent but if we did, it would be hard to find a site that would fit more than one.

Very great and close for a quick overnight camp experience.

We love going camping there and have been camping there for as long as I remember. We have always loved camping there and it has always been a good experience. This year however was a little different. The outhouses were dirty and the toilet paper was almost out. We asked the host about replacing it and she had said that she had just had surgery so couldn't.

Im torn on leaving this review... This camp spot is great is you know what you are signing up for. Its a giant spot with tons of parking, bathrooms, tables and a fire pit. Me and 3 other families drove up AF canyon, paid the entrance fee to find a spot, eat tinfoil dinners and visit. It was extremely busy so all the spots were taken. We drove as far as we could go until we hit a gate thats made us turn around. In turning around we saw a camp site in the distance, we walked over and saw another family sitting there cleaning up their meal. We asked if they were done and they told us it was ours to use. We started a fire while the kids threw a football and played tag. An hour in to it the camp manager rolled up and said hope you have your check books. I was a little confused but was also okay with paying if needed until she told us it was $385. I stood there dumbfounded.. I asked if we could pack up and leave and she told us she would write us a ticket if we refused to pay. There were no signs on the lot that said anything about a cost. None of us wanted a ticket so we paid it that was the most expensive picnic Ive ever had. As I mentioned earlier, Id be happy to pay to use the spot but we would never have used the spot if we had known the cost in advance.

Easy access to a trailhead, restrooms, and water spigots. Private spot up stairs above the road. Bugs were intense - use bug spray.

Always a great place with no issues.

Our site 64 was noisy. We could hear the activity on the lake below as well as the ATV/motorcycle trafic on the main road. other than that is was very nice.
@DallinMF19669C · Camped on Aug 18, 2023 at Campsite #20
Beautiful campground! The site was well taken care and had plenty of space for our 8-man tent. We were surprised and happy to show up and find a large stacked of wood left by a previous camper. The convenience of the bathrooms was very helpful with our young family and plenty of shade from all the large trees. Our site was just a short distance to Silver Lake or the Tibble Fork Reservoir (our main purpose for staying there). Granite Flats is a dog-friendly campground and our dog was in heaven. So many sticks to chew on. Would definitely recommend to all our friends and we are coming back.

Absolutely loved this location. Did lovely hikes and enjoyed swimming in the Silver Flat Lake. Views are stunning and the campgrounds are really lush and beautiful! Only complaint is the bathrooms are antiquated so lack modern designs solutions that solve for that gawd awful smell! Which always attracts the flies.. That combined with my observations of sub par cleaning (doused with water only) added up to a less than pleasant bathroom experience...

What a gem! Love the campsites. So many lovely trees and the campgrounds are staggered on varying levels so you're close to other campers but can still enjoy feelings of seclusion and privacy. It smells piney, the birds are a chorus of nature and our little overnighter could not have gone better. 5/5 would recommend and will return.

Great location, could hear cars driving around late at night, but we'll come back here. Close to great hikes and tibble fork-would recommend Granite Flat

Scenery was fantastic. The campsite was a mess (blame the previous occupant) and the outhouses smelt terrible.

Had a great time.

The camp site was great. The place to put a tent was small and uneven though. But we were able to work with it.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
