Washington Lake Campground is a nice place to spend in the great outdoors. Clear nights show a brilliant milkyway. The lake is great for fishing, kayaking, and paddleboarding. Many trailheads near the campground to go hiking. Overall a great place to camp.

The campsites and campgrounds are always very clean. Restrooms also. Beautiful area with lots of trees and close trails. The lake is excellent for canoeing, kayaking, and fishing.

We loved the group site we reserved. Plenty of room for our family. We were lucky and had no neighbors in the other group site. Outhouse was clean. Mosquitoes and flies were horrible but that is the case in all of the Uintas right now.

Washington Lake is my fav. Beautiful. Access to so many trailheads Great fishing. Beautiful oh I said that already. Camp host Dennis and Karma were so nice, helpful, and clean restrooms.5* I think Washington lake has the nicest camp sites of all the lakes. Only problem with it is everyone thinks the same so its hard to get a camp site.
@BrentC4E994170 · Camped on Jul 17, 2023 at Campsite #38
We accessed the lake near a campsite on the other side of the loop from ours. We asked the people at the site if we could park there for a bit while our kids played at the lake. They were fine with it, but the camp host said that they'd be charged an extra vehicle fee. I found that a ridiculous requirement since we had already paid for our own site. We had to tote our little kayaks all the way from our site over to the lake.We were also camped next to "Ken" who was certain our 2 6 year old kids were going to cause some sort of mayhem. When you get old people, try not to become a "Ken" or a "Karen". We loved everything else except the bugs. Kids had a great time.

Nothing but great things to say about the facilities, particularly the bathrooms. Tidy and well-maintained. However, there were insane amounts of gnats and mosquitos (at dawn and dusk) when we camped there in mid-July; really only tenable if you have a camper you can retreat to (not a tent).

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
