FYI campsite is not next to the parking slab at all. It was a small hike down a hill and over a stream to the site. Would not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues. However, if you don't mind the short hike to transport your items and get to/from the site, it is a wonderful site. Plenty of trees to hang hammocks and felt like you had decent privacy for a campground site.

Campground is very nice. Lots of pines. Wish that water faucets were close to sites as there is only one at the camp entry. Our site 27 was a pull thru that was hard to pull my 28 foot trailer into. Sites 27, 26 & 25 are rather close together - more spacing would be nice.

Had a great time! Very few people in the campground. Stayed for three days and the fishing was great.

The campground was amazing! It was very clean. Camp hosts were very friendly. Facilities were available and clean. The Yurt tent was bigger than expected and was comfortable and clean. The campground is right on the lake and had easy access for fishing or kayaking. The locations is great also because there are a number of different places to visit and see within a short dive.

I loved the easy reservation process and the email reminders are great. It was super easy to drive right up to our site and see our name on the reserved card. Our campsite was clean and spacious. Although there are a lot of sites we didn't feel crowded at all and had enough privacy to our liking. One surprise was the cleanliness of the bathrooms. They were the cleanest bathrooms I've ever witnessed at a campsite. This was a big plus as we had two females in our group and clean bathrooms are much more appreciated by them. I complimented the host on the bathrooms when we left and he said: "We clean them twice a day!" I can't overstate how nice this was. The only downside was the overflowing dumpster, which happened to be right near our site. I know this is not the fault of the host, but the fault of the irresponsible campers who keep piling on after the dumpster is full. We packed our trash out so as not to add to the mess. I love the proximity to three lakes with great fishing. Fishing at lost creek never disappoints. And it's amazing to see the bald eagles fishing as well. We will be back every year.

Really nice location, good campsite and views. Quiet at night. Great strolling areas and places for small ones to play! The only thing missing was TP in one of the pit toilets and we are also always hoping for better gray water management systems for tent campers who want to responsibly dispose of dishwater. Otherwise, we had a fabulous time and will be back!

Such a beautiful spot with wildflowers blooming everywhere. A great place for paddleboarding, canoeing, and fishing. We took hikes around the nearby Lilly and Teapot Lakes. We brought our camper and our kids and their families stayed in the Yurts which worked very well for them since they don't own a lot of camping gear. I wish that there were more Yurt sites in the Uintahs!

Too busy for my taste, with the road right there it wasn't as secluded as I had hoped.

Wow! This is definitely one of our new favorite campsites! It is for tents only and you have to hop over a small stream on your walk from the car - but nothing could compare to sleeping with the sounds of several nearby babbling brooks! Plenty of shade, good firepit/picnic table set up, flat area for tents, and clean pit toilets. I will say we LOVED the privacy of this site - it didn't feel like you would crowded in with lots of neighbors but we also noticed when we left that many sites were labeled as "closed". I'm guessing its because we camped here the first weekend of the season and some sites may have had too much water or mud.

Site was hard to pull into with a trailer, had to go the wrong way to be able to face the driveway angle. Good trees around the driveway. Not enough flat space for a tent but if you dont mind a little incline there is room for maybe a small tent. There is a little stream going behind camp so the kids loved it. The lake is walking distance from the campground so that was nice as well.

Other than the rain it was fantastic. The space I was in had a creek running behind it. I had a easy walk to the lake for fishing

Camp site was big and very nice view and close to the bathroom. And very close to lake.

Pads tend to be on the short and somewhat narrow side so make sure you check the length for each one. Overall, sites are on the larger side and are fairly private. Bath rooms are clean but were stinky - as expected. Very nice camp hostess helped us find a better site for our rig that had recently been cancelled. Lovely spot if you can get in!

Amazing location. Even though there are a lot of campgrounds at this location, this site feels secluded. It’s right next to the creek and the lake. Lots of fun for the whole family. The camp hosts were amazing too. The mattresses are more firm. Plan for that.

It was a wonderful place for a cousin reunion. Everyone had lots of room and the campsite was lovely. We brought our dogs and they had loads fun in the lake and staring at the chipmunks and squirrels. On one of the morning we could hear a pack of Coyotes howl and it was amazing.

@JohnW4841416 · Camped on Aug 15, 2022 at Campsite #24
The good: * This campground is really close (within a few miles drive) to a lot of hiking trails. * The clear night sky is incredible at this location. * The pit toilets were kept clean. The not-so-good: * A herd of free-range cows came through the campground - and our campsite - twice. I had to shoo a few cows away from our tent one afternoon and again at 3:30am when they came back. They also left cow pies all over the place (as cows will do). * A number of the campsites aren't too level, so if you're in a tent you may be sleeping on sloped ground. * The paved road in the campground has been washed out in some areas and repaired with gravel, which has been subsequently washed out. It's rough in some places.

Some of the back in spots require you to go the wrong way to get back in. Otherwise, it was great!

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
