Grapevine Group Campground, Roosevelt, AZ

Grapevine Group Campground is located in the Tonto Basin Ranger District of the Tonto National Forest (1 hr 27 min northeast of Apache Junction, AZ) with an elevation of 2,299 feet. There are a total of 9 campsites. The campground is open all year. All sites are currently reservable. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring. There is a fee of $75.00 per night.

We have been repeated visitor for the past 10 years and we have always loved this trip. Unfortunately thing happen and we understand that problems with the water has been an issue for a couple years now but if I wouldn't have checked my reservations I wouldn't have even known there were to be no water. We accepted that fact but then when we got there there was only 2 port-a-potty which is good for a 40 hr work week for 10ppl and we were there from Wednesday to Tuesday in a group site having them clean more than once would have been nice and more sanitary. We are hoping by next year things will have changed.

Flush toilets and potable water are no longer available at this campground but the price has remained the same. Very clean site, good views. Mike the camp host was awesome.

Sadly, wasnt informed that the water was out (which was a huge reason for booking the site, and left several of us scrambling to get water!)

Would definitely recommend this campground to anyone. Clean bathrooms, good camping area, showers, and kids area near the camp. Cell phone service was 1-2 bars for AT&T

The showers did not work in the loop. We had to drive to another loop and instead of cleaning out the bathrooms the host locked them next to the park. The host was in our campsite to view things and was not helpful to us.

Had a great time, camp host was very nice and checked with us to make sure were all doing ok and enjoying the lake. The only complaint I have is they have taken out the water spigot by the Ramadas, so have to walk to restroom area to get water needed.

The volunteer kept the bathrooms clean, the closest shower was still out of order and the campsite had tall weeds and grass.

I would highly recommend this Loop in the group site! It was very clean, the spots were spacious and the view at the communal fire-pit is AMAZING!!

Great views. Great sites. Love the spread out feel of the location. Bathrooms need to be repaired. They leak. Bee's at the north end of the campground. Host was very nice and accommodating. Ramada's are nice.

Had our annual Thanksgiving event @ Mallard camp site this was first time at a group use site The experience was a good one the camp host was very friendly and the restrooms were clean. I believe we would use this facility again.

Great place for the group to camp whether you have a trailer or tents or both. Views are awesome. Camp leader is friendly and informative. Boat ramp close by for easy access.
