What beautiful views. Pristine quiet camp ground. Cindy and Dusty went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful! We will be back! Thank you Cindy and Dusty!!

Dusty and Cindy were great hosts. They were very knowledgeable of the surrounding area and had lots of information. The campground was kept in immaculate shape along with the bathrooms facilities. The horse stalls were in great shape and no issues with getting the horses in or out of them. We will be returning to Frazier Horse Campground.. :-)

Camp Hosts were great, riding trails are better suited to trailer to. Very pretty, clean sites.

The campsite was immaculate with all the amenities. The hosts were wonderful, knowledgeable and extremely helpful and friendly. There is one trail from the site and due to the recent rain there was one area that was a little muddy/blown out but was manageable. Beautiful view from the site, we will certainly stay again.

No trails to ride from the camp. Camp host said lots of trails, but you have to trailer to all of them. Hard to pack up a living quarters to trailer to ride. Nice camp, but we will not be going back.

We love the caretakers. They are both nice and keep the place looking great. As long as we’re able to, this will be our winter spot.

@RitaP596 · Camped on Nov 13, 2021 at Campsite #7
Great campground host, they know all the trails and ins and outs of the area, they're horse people so its nice to have hosts that know what other horse people are looking for. The only problem is that campsite #7 has a stall that is not usable because its missing two fence rails, fortunately no one was at site #8 so we were able to use that one. Also the only trail that is rideable from there is not very long, or ypu would have to pass some big boulders but I wouldn't try that with my horses, the Lakeview is great, weather was perfect and we had a good time.

I booked and paid for my reservation over a month out. After driving 4.5 hours to get there we were informed that the trailhead was closed due to installation of new transmission lines. There was no other access to trails from camp. There was no email informing me of this ahead of time although I did get an email reminding me of the upcoming trip, nor was there any posting on the website that the trailhead was closed. The site hosts are wonderful.

Beautiful views! Hosts were wonderful, even took the time to help my grandson with his fishing reel. Area, including bathroom and stalls, was very clean. I will be back.

It was a beautiful spot. The corral for my horse was right next to my spot. Having the ramada and picnic table and fire pit was very nice. It was cold and rainy when I was there. I still had a great time and found it very relaxing. We trailered out to find some riding spots. It is such a beautiful area with all the saguaros. I will definitely go back again.

Truly outstanding in every way possible... camp sites were well groomed and clean, water was close and available. Camp host was kind, helpful and courteous. The bathrooms were very clean. Dumpsters to put our manure in. Access to site was easy to pull into and out with a Dodge 4500 and a 30’ living quarters horse trailer. Access to trail from camp a bit confusing at first, but the camp host helped us out. You basically headed west out of the campground under the highway then you turn north. It’s basically a out and back for the most part. We left camp and made it to the Arizona Trail and rode south, picking up a USFS road heading east down to highway. Once we went under the highway, we found the old highway that headed north to our camp, but couldn’t get around the National Monument Park, Gates were locked and no way around it, so we had to turn around, go back to head down the highway which wasn’t good, but there was no other way to do it.... I would recommend the USFS builds a connection Trail from the campground South around tonto National monument park so the riders can get back to camp without going down the highway. This was a huge problem. Signage was nice, except on anything leaving the campground headed south towards the national monument park. It was a 20 mile ride and should of only been 16 as we had to turn around. The trails were well marked going under the highway and heading north and then connecting to the Arizona Trail, it was only when we got all the way around south of the tonto national monument park that it was tough. All in all a fabulous place to camp.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
