We have been camping here for twenty years. Since USFS took over recently, this campground is no longer enjoyable. Bathrooms were not cleaned or stocked with to the four days we were there. Tent campers took the largest sites even though the the tent loop was empty Three to four cars per site with tents and shade tents flowing into our site. We only saw the host one time in four days.

Our campsite had adequate shade and a lovely area behind it where the kids could play, explore, and walk the dog.

Large and well spaced campsites. Clean bathroom. You could hear the highway but that was the only downside and it would not stop me from staying again.

Beautiful campground, large sites, plenty of room between them. Water spigots located around the cg to fill jugs or small RVs. Great hiking in the area, Horton Creek and its spring are a must do.

Listen. This is my absolute most favorite campground. The spaces are spread out. The bathrooms have always been clean. Its close to stores if needed. I love it.

We are AZ locals in the Valley so we come here fairly frequently. Nice small park with good sites that are well spaced. Both RV loops are good but we prefer the Oak to the Juniper because Oak offers a little more space and trees. No hiking trails but you can walk the park road and explore the creek if it is running. So in general you can get exercise if you want. It isn't far from the highway but you really don't hear the road very much.Our only issue with this park is that when we have booked on Rec.gov it has showed there are few sites available for our days. But when we got there we had an entire loop to ourselves. We usually camp mid week so a park being quiet is to be expected. But we are wondering whether rec.gov keeps up to date as much as it should or there are lots of cancellations. Don't know, but thought we'd point it out for others to check via phone if the park seems booked. This has happened to us twice in the last year and a half.Not complaining about having a loop to ourselves but just letting you know that what you see online may not be what is actually available for whatever reason.

Great location near beautiful trails. The site is super clean with nice spacing for tent camping. A gang of Elk and a herd of cows visited during our stay.

The campground is spacious and quiet. The bathrooms are very clean and cell reception is wonderful while being out in the pines.

Campsite was clean and flat, perfect for putting our tent. The bathrooms were pretty clean and Im thankful they had air freshener that smelled like apple cinnamon. We had great cell phone reception (Verizon). I would definitely come back!

The campsite is very nice, beautiful scenery. We had elk and a cow visit us. We had site 20. It was big. Luckily no one was staying at the site right next to us. Its close to local lakes and streams. Wed stay there again.

Beautiful campground very clean. We reserved camp site 19 and when we got there the host let us move to spot 2 on pine loop. So we would be closer to all are othe friends. Very clean toilets saw them come out and pressure wash the restroom. Close to lakes and creeks. Will stay and the campground more.

One of our favorite campgrounds. Love the location, size of sites, and space between them.However, the new hosts were very disappointing. Our site was not cleaned prior to our arrival, and the fire pit and grill were filled with old coals. And nothing ever got taken care of out entire stay. They seemed to just drive around and not interact or actually do anything. Never saw one get out of the golf cart or off his motorcycle. Really miss the hosts who had been there for several years prior. They really cared about the campground, and were awesome people.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
