Tried to cancel my reservation due to the weather more than once and could not get the website to work, the phone number didn't work. Lost all of our payment by not being able to cancel the reservation.

The park is good, but this time we had an unfriendly front desk lady with several of our group members. Never had a problem with staff before in our many trips there, but I guess she was having a bad couple of days.

Quiet and peaceful. Love being next to the lake

avoid using the bath house near the gate house. it is in a serious state of disrepair

Park was nice, we arrived late and check in was seamless. The site we reserved was right next to the water, it would have been perfect if there wasnt so much trash everywhere.

Lot 82 is quite possibly the best campsite I have ever visited

The park is beautiful and well kept, it was quiet and we fully enjoyed ourselves!
@AmyJB99E2FE989 · Camped on Mar 9, 2025 at Campsite #90
We stayed in Site 90. The spot provided ample space and a covered concrete picnic table overlooking the water. We did use the accessible showers in order to take advantage for the newly renovated building and to avoid the push button showers in our area. We enjoyed being in the northern camping area. We also used the dump station in that area with no wait. The campground is close to many services in nearby Benbrook.

Perhaps the prettiest campground Ive ever stayed in and super reasonably priced! Large sites, right beside Benbrook Lake, great walking/biking paths, friendly host, friendly fellow campers. Only negative was rather primitive shower rooms push a button for about 15 seconds of water! That would not stop me from staying there again, just a forewarning . Definitely worth a repeat stay!

Our hosts were awesome! We were in site 75 which was a remote site, even though 74 is next to you. We loved being in this location away from other campers for the peace and quiet, right on the lake. Note: Site 75 is electric only! We filled our tank ahead of time.
@johnc3063297 · Camped on Mar 1, 2025 at Campsite #84
Very nice campground/lake setting. Did not care for supposedly fellow campers asking if we could take them into town to buy groceries. Also, evening fishermen (partiers) leaving their campfire burning when they left. We extinguished the following morning.

I have been to Holiday Park many times over my life and have always enjoyed it.

Campground is close to Fort Worth (20 miles) and near Benbrook, TX where there are lots of options for shopping, dining, etc. Be prepared for noisy neighbors on the weekends and aware of the fact that the gates are locked at 10pm nightly. T-Mobile coverage for 5G Home Internet worked great. Tried to extend my stay past the 14 night within 30 day limit (I live/work remotely and it's a convenient location for me near DFW and my Public Storage space) ... I was denied, even though the campground was nearly empty - just FYI. Will stay here again because of it's location and price.

I have stayed in all kinds of sites at this park; non-electric and electric. This is my absolute favorite site. It has great views of the lake and minimal traffic.

An amazing experience. Our first site #85, was not level at all, but had a gorgeous view of the lake. We are in a 37' motorcoach with a toad. We must have been close to an Eastern Bluebird's nest because they kept bombarding our car. They are beautiful birds, but boy can they make a mess of a car! Once we moved to a more level site (#90) 5 sites down, they didn't bother us anymore, but no beautiful view from there. #91 is very level and long. The people managing the camp were all super sweet. There is only electric and water at these sites with a pump out station around the bend. Not all sites have hook ups. We saw roadrunners, deer, herons, egrets, and vultures. It's half an hour drive into Ft Worth. The Stockyards are well worth the drive. An hour away is the marvelous Creation Science Museum in Dallas and, of course, Ripleys Believe It or Not.

Tent site 80 was nice on the water but nearby mens restroom was locked and by the looks of how much trash was inside of it, it has probably been locked for quite some time now.

GET YOUR GATE CODE WORKING! Ridiculous to ask campers to have to park outside the gate after 10:00 p.m.. then have to walk past the gate and to their campsite.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
