My girlfriend and I spent the labor day holiday with some friends. We had an awesome time. The park rangers were friendly, they would stop by on there rounds and talk to us see how we were doing. All in all it was a great experience. Whether you are tent camping or rv camping, its a great place.

Great location close to plenty of shopping, restaurants and more. Nice staff. Steve and the two rangers were very professional and nice. The new bathroom is very nice and clean. The old bathroom needs to be updated. Fantastic roads for walking and biking. Pads and hookups are okay. Only negative was that during the weekend, locals come to party and some are very loud with obnoxious music. Overall, a good experience.

There were (2) different Park Rangers at the front gate. They were both super nice and very efficient.

The camp site was clean. The staff was friendly. They are dog friendly, which is a big thing for us.

Dead tree limbs blocked any view of lake.

Been coming here for many years however I will not be returning anytime soon! The people that are working in the office are extremely rude and clearly do not know how to talk to people in a decent manner!! They treat people like they are animals or some one that is wayyyyyy beneath them!

The campground was nice but the bathrooms in the back section of the campground were very poor.

The park was relatively clean, but more could be done in keeping the restroom and shower facilities a bit cleaner. I enjoyed the overall experience. My fellow campers were extremely friendly. All this however was overshadowed due to the rudeness and unemphatic attitude of the gate attendant. There was one night where I literally arrived at the gate 2 minutes past 10. Knocking on the door of the gate house resulted in no answer so I assumed the staff member already left. After exploring the entrance and exit areas to see if there was any possibility of getting in to the park, I was incredibly upset to find the gate house staff member was there but decided to ignore my knocking. He only decided to reveal himself after I checked out the road spikes by the exit to see if I had tampered with them in some way. When I tried to talk with him and ask if I could please get to my campsite, he just shook his head without even so much as glance at me. I get the park gates close at 10, but I paid for a reservation and the fact that he refused to even acknowledge me or make an exception after arriving 2 minutes late is just ridiculous.

It's a beautiful campground. We saw lots of deer in the area. The power and water hookups were great. The bathrooms were adequate and usually clean. Our campsite sloped a bit more than we prefer.

Holiday has been one of our favorite COE parks. It recently had flooding due to rain. That put out a lot of the 50amp sites. We just reserved a tree shaded site and only used one a/c. Hoping with time they get back to normal. Its a quiet area with lots of walking choices.

Nice site location. Little to no shade, but good view of park.

So glad the screen shelter had shutters. We were able to hang out during the rain and sleep well.Facilities were clean. It was flooded but the view and location of site 63 was perfect for old ladies.The park staff were very friendly and helpful.

Brand new bathrooms need to have the skylight, that allows more heat in, removed and exhaust fans installed to remove the heat and humidity. The rooms are unbearable on a hot day or night.The lakes shoreline needs the brush removed to allow for fishing. This is one of the worst lakes to fish without a boat.
@RussellS811673 · Camped on Apr 23, 2024 at Campsite #99
Secluded creekside and open lakeside campsites. Updated grills and actively/recently renovated facilities. Wish I had time to hike the nature trail; lots of wildlife around. I was lucky enough to hear and see a fish jumping through the creek between sandbars. Hammock camping sites available with lots of tree cover.

We always have an enjoyable experience when camping at Holiday Park The park is well maintained, bathrooms are clean.
@PhilipD5939420 · Camped on Apr 16, 2024 at Campsite #66
campsites are usually very clean. Park is very well kept. Front gate people are VERY friendly. Last trip I was checked in by an actual employee and not a volunteer who was able to answer questions I had and advised me of some camp sites that would meet my needs. I can wait for my next trip to Benbrook. BTW, I know a volunteer is just that... a volunteer and was not disappointed in anyway.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
