Airport Park Campground in McLennan county is located just 16 min northwest of Waco, TX with an elevation of 503 feet. There are a total of 75 campsites including 47 boat sites. The campground is open all year. 47 sites can accommodate RVs between 57 and 147 feet. All sites are currently reservable. 47 sites have electric and water hookups. 15 sites have water hookups. Fees range from $16.00 to $150.00. Some amenities include boat ramp, restroom.

I was a little disappointed in the condition/maintenance of the facilities. Last time we were there everything was cleaned. This time, the bathhouse looked only minimally tended.

I always love coming out here and spending time with my family and enjoying the peace, the nature, the water, just everything. The views are beautiful site 7 and 8 are the best sites, but all the other ones are great too.

The campground was beautiful. Our only regret was that we couldn't spend more time there. We were on our way home after a 3 week trip and only spent one night.

Campground is a diamond waiting for some polish. Waco Lake campground has been neglected for a few years. The grass around the sites is always too high and the sites have not been cleaned when you get there. Upon arrival you can count on finding cigarette butts strewn everywhere, bottle caps, etc.. everywhere. At least they could rake the gravel around the tables to get the trash out of the way.

Beautiful park! Restrooms clean and comfortable to use! Only concern - why are there so many empty sites with a Reserved tag on them and no one in them? When we were trying to reserve a spot months ago, there was very little selection!

We love this park. Close enough to town, but still out. Lake was full now(April2024).Would be great of CoE could get - point more funding$ for maintanence as most ALL parks seems to be taken less care of. Thanks JoeB.

Great park, sites are spaced apart and whole camp is well maintainednote: gates close at 10:00 and you have to drive in to town for any services -- but great for quiet, relaxing tent site with beautiful views

This is a great campground. Nice lake. Good location for getting around Waco. We have stayed here twice in two different parts of the campground. We will definitely be back. There are spaces that are full hookup, some are pull-through, some are back-in; a wide variety of choices.

The lady at the gate was very rude to all my family that attended. She was given all of us each time we went in or out a hard time. The park patrol was always driving by watching us to see how many cars we has in and how many people we had in the park. Talking about that , it doesnt make any since when you all just let 4 cars in and let only 10 visitors. I paid for the spot and I should be able to want to come and visit. That blew our hole Easter week end for the kids. We were even wanted to pay the 3 dollars to come in and were denied to enter the park. We were all Hispanic and I think she was Racist.

Stayed in site 11, a little sloped for our 40 motorhome but we mad ir work with a couple of leveling boards. Electric water and sewer connection functioned well. Showers and bathroom were clean and funtioned well. Had a great view of the lake. Only minor issue we had was oak trees need trimming as they had branches hangin low. Grass was a little overgrown. Will come back if ever in the area again. Park was also very well located to visit the Waco area.

Park is clean and QUITE. Sunsets are spectacular. Park host or personnel clean the site pretty quick after being vacated as well.
