The most beautiful view to wake up to. Site 34 was ours for four days and three nights. We had a blast!! Everyone around was sooooo wonderful and welcoming. Really mellow campsite and wed definitely go back. Our neighbors RV caught fire and everyone all over camp pitched in to help. What a great community and place. We really love Preston Bend!

Thr ants at our campsite when we arrived were out of control. By the next morning the inside of our camper was infested. Note to bring ant traps and spray. Otherwise the bathrooms were pretty clean and it was a nice view. I will note the boat ramp is very skinny. Also, we stayed in site 26 and the spots around us all have limited parking so if you have 2 vehicles or large RV's it's a challenge. We will definitely go back here.

Preston Bend use to be a great spot to vacation . In the last 3 years it has become an open haven for anyone to come in without reservations. #1) No one at gate and people arrive and take over any empty space they can find . The boat ramp area especially. They park and go down to the beach. No room left for those who reserve to launch their boat and have a space to trailer it to 2) Free loaders come in and destroy the bathrooms . Ask Robert, he knows 3) Boats tie up at the dock for days. Hard to dock your boat and tie up and go move your truck off the ramp.4) Corp finally put up signs to stop people from pulling way up on the grass in front of the 3 sites by the boat ramp. They totally block your water view and are encroaching on your rented site. 5) New VEBO built that people can come down a small slope with their ATV and run around the campground . Not street legal and very loud !Please make this area great again ! Every bit of money that the Corp is losing from hundreds of people not paying to launch their boats could have been used to out the metal canopies over every site. So overlooked and not attended to as other corp lake campgrounds on Texoma

We love camping here. We try and get the same spot every time. The only issue we would have is, not enough beach area

The view was amazing to the lake. However, we arrived to a dirty campsite. Cigarette butts all over the site, dirty diaper, fire pit no cleaned out with trash.

Campsite was nice, good view of the water and plenty of shade. Flat tent area and close to restroom. Campsite was small though, and our neighbors were right next to us (had their hammock 5 feet from our tent).

Site 11 had an amazing view from my RTT. The site was clean. the toilet was also clean. There is a water faucet nearby if you need to get water. Very well kept.

Campsite was clean and in good condition even though storms happened every night. Hook ups were good but need 50 to 75 feet of water hose depending on the site.

We still had 2 more days to stay , Robert the contractor started mowing next to our camper,my husband was standing out side. I went and asked to him to quit as hes was throwing rocks next to our truck,he kept on.I finally told him to stop, he replied he had a job to do.I relied come back after we leave,he said he would call Corp and tell them what I said. He didnt mow the site next to us plenty of sites not occupied he didnt mow.we left at8:00 before I leave out time. He never mowed site 32 as our family is in #33 the next day.he went out of town.I know all of this as he uses Ted to do his weed eating.camper #33.Get another contractor as this one is useless.

Good place

Space was totally infested with sugar ants which then infested our rv and boat.
@RobertK4087757 · Camped on Aug 6, 2023 at Campsite #15
Nice quiet location. The entrance is very steep, literally watched a 4x4 truck with a 20+ ft camper have to be pulled out by another truck. Gravel was too lose to get up. Long rvs I would stay away from this spot.

Great place, just wish there was a beach.

Second time staying at Preston Bend and it never disappoints! Campsites arent too close to each other, beautiful scenery, primitive sites are nice and quiet, shower houses are amazing. I love how close the water is and we will definitely be back!
@StefaniePC41B1 · Camped on Jun 30, 2023 at Campsite #11
Was disappointed park ranger or host wasn’t on site. Or even had an after hours number for issues. The site across from us partied all night long with their 3 vehicles alarms going off on purpose and headlights on and even at one point hearing 2 guys start fighting. That same group left a lot of trash at the beach swim area.

On the water camping spot with shade and good amenities.

Weekends are busy here, but that is to be expected. The camp hosts checked on everyone during/after high winds and thunderstorms which I thought was very considerate. Rocks have been added to preserve the cliff areas and access to beaches were improved, one area had a new walkway and concrete stairs to the beach. Several campsites have new tables and concrete pads. Clean restrooms and showers. Dock and boat ramp are well maintained. Get your reservations in early!

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
