Tree limbs over D01 need to be cut back. Damaged the roof on our RV.

What nice clean Rv park. Easy in and out and very quiet.

Great sites. Very clean. Quiet. My only thing is dogs not being kept on leashes. More than two times dogs without owners and not on leashes came around our campsite and aggravated our dogs who were in a pen and on leashes. So, if you have pets or small children watch for loose dogs.

ALL sites need to be leveled. Bring a shovel or you will have problems getting your rig level.

The site we book was incorrect on the map and had an incorrect description. We was forced to move due to the error two (2) days before our trip was to be concluded to a spot that was to small for our trailer. Very disappointed...

Picture on site was misleading. Site was off level (low on left side). Nice grounds. Easy on and off hwy. Would stop here again

My wife and I were camping with daughter and son-in-law for a week. It was very relaxing to be away visiting with my daughter and husband. Im retired but they both work a lot of overtime and really enjoyed the time here. I sat in the shade most of the time watching them fish. Very quiet and quiet, not a lot of traffic running around. Thanks for the use of this comping facility. Will be back.

The campsites are pretty and right next to the water. The pit toilets aren't bad. The showers are something out of a Stephen King novel. I don't fish but WOW looks like people were pulling some good ones out.

We are so happy here at Juniper Point. This is a beautiful park and were booked to come back in June.
@ChristiB0263F5 · Camped on Apr 5, 2024 at Campsite #C28
We love Juniper Point. Our favorite site is 28. It needs to have all the curbing at the site removed, it's a trip hazard. The back also needs some more rock to make it level with the front, it's hard to get the RV level. Great place though!

Great location and easy access to all necessities! Nice calm area to relax

Stayed on the west side. Sites were well groomed and large enough to be private. Will definitely be going there again. Needs access to beach area.

Water turned off. No notice on AP. No host informed. No booth with notice. Road construction.

Camp ground was clean and quiet. All campers were respectful and courteous of each other. Water worked and bath room was clean and stocked. Once out of the grounds,walking the shoreline was disappointing because of all the trash piled up floating in from the lake.

We love Juniper point. East and West sides are well maintained and both have good boat ramps with a dock. There is the crosstimbers hiking trail which is an intermediate hike with great views. Fishing is year round. Catfish, striper, crappie, and our favorite..sand bass are all in the area. Not far from the islands as well all of the west side marinas including Cedar mills which has a great restraunt, Pelicans landing. The only thing that would be better about Juniper point campsites would be if they were full hookups.

At this particular time, it was rainy most every day. There is construction making the entrance difficult to find. Water is not available during the winter months.That being said, this is a basic spot and is a good place to get away for a couple of days. There are no amenities as expected and it's relatively clean.
@WilmaN85E93A5D · Camped on Dec 8, 2023 at Campsite #D7
Reservation was early December 2023.Construction being done at entrance of park. Road very bumpyToliets are not flushable, hole dug in ground...1 step up from a porta-potty. No hands washing/sink in the toilet area. And the toilet itself was nasty, three feet of explosive stuff that was eww.Showers were closed, and the closest one was about 15 miles away and costs $8.50. No water. There was electricity, but you should be prepared for basically being self contained. There is a casino right across the bridge. Nice views. Nice concrete pads to park on. (Although, on ours, a truck pulling trailer, the length of the two did not allow for truck and trailer disconnect due to the angle of drive in and pad. It could be very difficult).Most of my complaints might be diminished if it wasn't winter time.
@DanielR3951934 · Camped on Nov 25, 2023 at Campsite #D9
Disadvantages were: had to stay 2 nights, bath house needed more cleaning, bath house should be marked as unisex (other COE campground bath houses have this) instead of men or women and the entrance was under construction but there was no warning on the website.Advantages were: very convenient to Cross Timbers Trail, nice paved pad and table and convenient to the lake.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
