We have stayed here before. The campground is nice, quiet and clean. The host (man, the wife was nice) was the rudest host we have ever encountered. With our size we like to check out the site, he didnt want to let us do that and was nasty about when we had to leave because the Campground was closing for the season. Overall we would stay here again but prefer Seven Points for convenience to Nashville.

Clean and quiet camping. A good place to stay when visiting Nashville.

Nice wooded campground on the lake. Paved sites were well spaced with picnic table and grill. Close to services like gas, stores, restaurants, if needed. Nice walking along the lake.

Nice level site. Bathrooms were just ok.

The host was extremely rude! The site I had reserved was occupied when I got there, later at night, so I pulled into an empty site next to mine. The host came at 7:25 and POUNDED on my vehicle with his fist and shouted at me. I was VERY upset at this experience!

Beautiful well maintained campground. 8 individual private showers with great water pressure and plenty of hot water. There were 2 in the campground. Well spaced sites and easy to back camper into the space. Close to Nashville for a day trip. Wish we could have stayed longer.

This is a beautiful campgrounds, so peaceful, clean and quiet. We so enjoyed being there. Will definitely come back.

It's safe and has the desired amenities, but all of the sites in the loops are stacked on each other. The way they fan out, everyone gets a good amount of grassy area, but neighbors are very close. Tons of spiders and mosquitos, bring your spray. Great water pressure and hot water, but bathrooms could use some attention. When I politely inquired about moving to a waterfront (or water view) site for my last night here, offering to pay any increased cost, the attendant lectured me about the concept of reserving in advance, and told me my site was a nice one. Told me these spots had been claimed 'as early as November of last year.' 4 of those sites were completely vacant all night, and I proceeded to Seven Points Campground where I easily booked a waterfront site. It was mid-September. The guy just didn't feel like moving me or enjoyed the chance to say No. Seven Points was FAR nicer, absolutely stunning.

Campsite #17 was a concrete pad that was mostly shaded. The circular narrow roadways & mature trees next to the pavement made getting our 36 fifth-wheel a bit tricky but once we were in, the site was very nice! Most internal sites have a view of Old Hickory Lake but there are a few that are lakefront. One other weird aspect of this campground is where the only dump station is located. It is in the very back of the campground.

My son was moving to Mt Juliet, and it looked like the perfect place to camp while I was helping him move. It is only 2.7 miles from his house. It is a beautiful campground with nice large sites, many in full shade. The campground is very well maintained and the bath house was really clean. I wish I had been able to use the beach or the lake access, which looked wonderfully inviting. The campground hosts were really helpful when I had to spend an extra night due to a trailer hitch malfunction. I will be back and next time I'll be able to really enjoy the campground.

This is a fine park. It is laid out very nice and the bathhouse is adequate. The spots are level and were raked which looked good.

We stayed at site #47 this time..when we arrived, the grass was quite grown up into weeds in some places. It got mowed a couple of days later, after complaints from our friends. The bathhouses were pretty clean. There needs to be a bit of maintenance done to them (ie: painting of floors, walls, and putting new deadbolts on to replace broken ones.)
@JamesS1371717 · Camped on Aug 2, 2024 at Campsite #2
We loved everything except for the fact that the grass was 18 high. Kids didnt want to walk through it. Liked that it was very flat and close to the swimming area.

Always enjoy Cedar Creek but the grass cutting and grounds maintenance seems to be a little slow
@GeorgeJ6652653 · Camped on Jul 29, 2024 at Campsite #4
Grass needed cut, understand it rains some but foot high grass , not that much rain , the bathhouse is terrible , full of spiders and big bugs not clean , smelled , my wife refused to take a shower in there, had not been cleaned in long time , we were late getting in on fri night , we tried calling but no answer , so we went on anyway , he was not pleased with us coming in about 10pm but we had rv problems . The misquotes were terrible day and night because of the grass , will try different place nxt trip to Nashville

Need a parking limit at the bathhouses. Vehicles park there all week to use the swimming and picnic area.

I loved it! Absolutely beautiful view of the lake at lakeside sites. People are friendly and the beach area wasn't crowded. Plenty of areas to walk your fur babies. Quiet. Two horseshoe pits that were large and off to themselves and well maintained. Brought back a lot of wonderful childhood memories
@JoeC5097181 · Camped on Jun 22, 2024 at Campsite #57
Wonderful park. Well maintained. Close to Nashville but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. Will stay there again when we are in the area.
@TonyM2707929 · Camped on Jun 17, 2024 at Campsite #49
Enjoy it at cedar creek on sites near lake. It is getting to the point the trees REALLY need to be trimmed high enough for a view. We like to watch tugs go by. It is now difficult to see them. Sure others enjoy lake view or we would camp somewhere else. Please help!!!!!!!
@ShawnH5107068 · Camped on Jun 14, 2024 at Campsite #39
We had the absolute best time. My wife and I were very impressed with the campground and its proximity to the lake. We are planning on returning next summer.

Very narrow roads with close trees. No ventilation in bath /restrooms. Some sites very close together.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
