Its our go-to camp if we want to get connected with nature! We love the campground but there are no shower rooms. Hope they will consider building it in the future! It was a fun adventure camping during the fall. Well come back again.

Nice campground, very close to the lake. There's an outdoor theater with seating than can be a fun experience with the family. One downside to this campground now, they've removed the portable shower facility that was once parked near the general store.

Know there will be people that who are partying way beyond 10P and there is no one to stop them, even in the furthest loop (A) from the lake.

Camping was great. Our family had so much fun. Our favorite part is making s'mores and talking about fun past family memories.

We have always enjoyed Pinecrest and try to camp on a yearly basis. The employees have always been incredibly friendly and helpful.

Visited late September. Tent camped. Nice weather, water still warm enough to swim. Not too busy on the beaches and campgrounds. Stayed in the D loop and used the c loop bathrooms which were private bathrooms and immaculate. We brought a blow up raft to paddle out to the little rock islands and the kids had fun doing that. Dog friendly. Sandy beach. I am glad I brought a screened tent to put around the picnic table cause there were lots of gnats at our campsite and the bug spray didn't do much to keep them away. Neighbors were respectful and courteous of night hours quiet time. Campgrounds were well maintained. Will definitely be making this an annual trip.

Campsites are well maintain and spacious, some have more privacy than others. Its a short walk to Pinecrest lake which is very convenient. I wouldnt recommend the sites close to the lake as the people from day use are passing by all the time and there is no privacy. They had movie nights on Fri and Sat when we went and it was great! Flushing toilets work well but on Sat there was no toilet paper anymore and it wasnt replaced until we left on Sun.

Four days and no showers was th only bummer. Too cold to swim. Please advise where to shower.

Beautiful and easy walk around the lake.

It is a shame that the bathrooms are in such terrible condition we pay to camp and no one pays to use the day facilities at the lake. Something has to be done to better manage the campground. Too many dogs of leash and never see the Sheriff patrol thru the campsites. Such a great place but it really needs some work on the bathrooms especially

Lovely stay. Fairly empty mid week this time of year. Im planning to come back really soon. Rangers are great. Facilities clean. Have to remember to bring a cushion for movie night.

I LOVE this campground. It was just my 2 boys and I. I felt safe the entire time. It was so clean and well taken care of. It was so quiet and peaceful. We will be making pinecrest site D39 our annual camping trip. So close to the water as well!

We visit Pinecrest annually because of the easy lake access for shore fishing. The beach is a nice place for picnics.
@JenniferG44963 · Camped on Sep 6, 2024 at Campsite #E13
This campsite was great. Plenty of shade, leveled ground, fits 2 cars or 1 truck. Near the store.
@JenniferG44963 · Camped on Sep 6, 2024 at Campsite #E15
When you visit Pinecrest campgrounds you should do the hike around the lake. The one thing thats great about this camp site, E015, is that it is big. The cons: barely any trees around it so if the sun is beaming you will feel it and we didnt like that people from the e loop walk across this campsite to go to the restroom.
@AmyP7922549 · Camped on Sep 4, 2024 at Campsite #D22
I hadn't been to Pinecrest in over 20 years. I found it just as beautiful as before. The grounds and bathrooms are kept clean. Only complaint was the trail lake was a lot harder than I remembered. Could be the extra years on my age!

Being in Pinecrest any midweek after Labor Day is the best experience. Quiet, no screaming children, empty beach. My favorite time to be here.

Been many times. It is a great experience. In addition to the lake and marina, the store and coffee shop are tremendous!I do wish there were recycle bins in the camping loops.Store and coffee kiosk are tremendous! It's ALL good.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
