If you have a trailer avoid sites 5,6, and 7. They are tough back-ins and so narrow we could not extend an awning. This site has very little sun. Could not generate ANY solar power. Also cellphone service is zero with iPhone/Verizon. Path to beach is in very poor condition, requiring fording the creek.

We spent just the one night here as we drove the Oregon coast, but wish we could have stayed longer. Absolutely beautiful campground. Vault toilet one of the cleaner ones we have used. Had been raining all day so the tent pad at our site (007) was flooded - didn't worry us as we were in a van.

I had the 2 best campsites #15 and #14. Fantastic Spruce forest.

Beautiful campground. The sites are up against the stream. Clean bathrooms, firewood for sale and water available. Close to great hikes. Quiet. Cape Perpetua, Thor's Well. Stone house hike. Awesome place

Small site, no service at all and it was pretty cold in the morning. Site was clean and close to bathroom.

Small, shaded, excellent campground. Camp host was selling firewood for $8. Sites were well shaded and in a fern gully just off 101. Quick access to great hikes, the beach, and everything Florence, Yachats, and the surrounding area has to offer.

This was our first time camping at this location. We were in site #2 across from the only restroom which was very convenient. The campground manager did a great job of keeping the facility clean and relatively odor-free (with a pit toilet you can only do so much). The campground has no direct access to the beach, but there are a lot of beach access areas nearby. Plenty of hiking and other things to do in the area. We would stay here again.

Lovely area, the bathrooms were clean and stocked.

Wonderful campsite. Great for comfortable sleeping with the sound of Rock creek nearby. Checkout says 11 am on site, but at campground it showed 1pm! Bonus

Facilities were exceptionally clean!

This was a price of paradise. The campsite was awe inspiring, the host was friendly and helpful and the access to cool spots was endless.

This site has plenty of room for a large tent. Unfortunately there were a handful of people that would come by to check out a small trail that starts/ends right at site #15. Not the best option if youre not into the idea of people walking immediately next to your car and tent at their leisure throughout the day. It was a bit unnerving hearing peoples footsteps outside my tent unexpectedly.

The campground is beautiful and very well maintained. The host was very friendly and very informative. Bathrooms were impeccable and there were even 5 gallon Fire Buckets placed at each water faucet. Rock Creek CG is a very small and quiet campground. Just 15 spaces. Some of the sites are very different from standard campgrounds. The fire ring and picnic table can be on a different level from the parking pad, and some sights are too small for a large tent or trailer. We chose #15 which is the most spacious. And, it is the furthest site in, so even more secluded. There is a trail leading from the back of site 15 that goes up the mountain to the ocean view (through the trees). It's a nice hike for those that are able.No cell service at all.

Beautiful campground - with most campsites right on the creek! We had a great experience here! There is a wonderful hike where you can follow the creek all the way to the ocean (~0.5 mile)! Campground was well maintained, and the camp host was very personable - gave us great local recommendations and very helpful! Definitely recommend this campground!

What a beautiful wooden oasis. The host was extremely helpful and friendly. The river was clear and hypnotically musical. The one vault toilet (one for women and one for men) was very clean and actually smelled good!!

We stayed in campsites 6 and 7 very nice campsites except you have to watch out for the tree roots at night they can become a tripping hazard access to the beach is just a short walk down a trail can be a little tricky with children but once you get to the beach you basically have it all to yourself very good tide pools with sea life muscles etc drawbacks are it can be a bit chilly because of the tree canopy and there is only one vault toilet for the whole campground. The host was nice.

Great location. Quiet although just a few hundred feet from the highway. Lush forest all around the creek

Rock Creek is a small, beautiful FS campground between a small creek and a forested hill. The surrounding forest is thick and stunning. The Oregon Coast is short walk away.

Our camp host Lee was amazing. We were on our1st trailer trip and it could have been a disaster,we had no power,no light only a flashlight. He helped us find out that it was a bad fuse and gave us a fuse till we could get to town to get some. He checked on us to be sure we were ok. The grounds were beautiful,quiet, and clean. Neighboring campers respectful. Soothing creek right by our table, couldn’t have been nicer. Thank you Lee for making our stay awesome! Francis family ps if you want to go to beach go North just a bit first parking turn out has nice area, or towards Florence to Carl Washburn picnic area great area. Also has dump station for trailers/ campers.

Campground was very nice, peaceful even when full. River was beautiful, clean, and cold! Bathroom very clean and camp host Holly was great. Stayed for 3 nights, was hard to leave. Beach access was a walk, but a nice one. The size of the trees amazed use every day!

The camp host was fabulous and really kept everything clean and tidy! Lovely site, small footprints but cozy. Very shaded, which is great when it's warm, but the weather was much colder than we were hoping for, so the shadiness kept things chilly. But we had a nice quiet neighbour who made up for the loud, obnoxious people next to us last time we stayed!
@JieZ4014027 · Camped on Aug 5, 2022 at Campsite #7
We had great fun staying here for two nights. Our site has enough flat area for fit one tent, but other site (site 8 for example) has more space. The host was very friendly. The camp site is very close to the beach: short walk cross under the 101 bridge and the creek, however, it is challenging for people with disabilities since it is not a paved road.
@PaulW1379819 · Camped on Aug 3, 2022 at Campsite #15
Access to the beach is difficult. There isn’t much of a trail and it requires hopping the creek in logs, which can be slippery.
@spencerb259251 · Camped on Jul 14, 2022 at Campsite #2
Do not book spot 2 or even 1 unless you want to pay nearly $40 to be basically 5 Ft from the pit toilets. Didn’t even stay the night, ended up going to another site and paying another fee just so I didn’t have to sleep right next to the bathroom and the campground entrance/exit.
@ShannonC110200 · Camped on Jul 4, 2022 at Campsite #6
The location was lovely! Very peaceful and quiet. Unfortunately, the on-site host was not welcoming at all- she really didn’t appear to enjoy her job! Not sure how she could be so grumpy , it was such a peaceful spot!

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
