Nice campground, would be great if there was WIFI. Lots of wildlife in the campground. It was quiet for the most part, and people were very respectful of each other. We saw fat squirrels, woodpeckers, turkeys, deer, and a bear. Beautiful starry skies at night, the sound of the river, and owls. It was a very clean place. Clean restrooms but no showers. Highly recommended.

Great spot. Pretty large campsite with some shade. Near restrooms and each one had 2 stalls. Didnt have to share parking and our car was covered by a giant tree. Great views all around.

It was wonderful! We camped here in March and the weather was beautiful (but warm sleeping bags are needed). I really loved the site where we were at because we had "private path" to the stream. I think this is the best site.

Great campground, beautiful setting. Someone was in our reserved space when we got there and the rangers were nice, helpful and got it resolved as quickly as could be expected.

Great place as a base camp to go to the rest of the park. Camp host Mark Barton was great too. Very courteous and friendly.

This is a great, little campground at the base of Sequoia National Park. It's right on the Kaweah River. The sounds of the river at night will lull you right to sleep. There's a great, but strenuous hike to Marble Falls within the campground. It's a 3.7 mile hike in. We only went about 1.5 miles into it, which was just about right for an hour-long hike. There's a short, 510-minute hike, to the swinging bridge over the Kaweah River directly across from the campground. It's a neat spot to grab an iconic photo. The visitor center was about 10 minutes away and the drive to the Giant Forest was about 45 minutes. It's a challenging drive, especially for the faint of heart or if you have a large vehicle. But it's SO worth it to see the General Sherman tree, the largest tree in the world, and all the other giant sequoias. Take the Big Trees Trail hike. We went in mid-February. It was absolutely spectacular. The weather was perfect for the hiking and sightseeing.

The facilities were in good shape and the behavior of all the fellows in the campground was adequate.

Lovely location, despite the wind, rain, and freeze warnings we stayed mostly dry and warm. The campgrounds are well spaced and oriented to provide privacy, even with our campsite being right next to the bathrooms and frequently used path. Bathrooms were clean and maintained. Great experience.

Wonderful location and a beautiful campground. The giant forest is a must visit we also recommend staying another night to check out Moro Rock. Ok and clean toilet facilities. No paper towels in the bathroom or hot water. Functioning dumping and water station. Clean campground. We definitively would like to come back.

Very nice quiet camp ground not far from Three Rivers and not far to Big Trees, we also saw deer in the campground. The bathrooms were clean and had a heater running in the morning. Will definitely winter camp there again.

Best camp spot. Spot 16!! Low traffic and serene
@EthanR107C663F · Camped on Jan 2, 2025 at Campsite #15
Site 15 was great, lots of space for tents. The fire pit ring was a little close to the parking spot, but that wasn't an issue.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
