Great place. Beautiful

It was the perfect location for a campsite (secluded, tucked into the woods, but also right near water and bathrooms), it had reliable amenities, and the site hosts were friendly and helpful. Princess' location in between Sequoia and King's Canyon also made it a convenient location for quickly accessing tons of fun spots in both parks.

Campsite was very peaceful and quiet. Our pitch was nice and level with plenty of shade with picnic table and fire ring, and a drinking water tap opposite.Everyone seemed to obey the quiet hours, and the camp hosts had plenty of firewood.Only downside was this site was some distance to the nearest store and trailheads, however that my be a plus if you want to keep away from the crowds.Some short trail loops through the woods start at the site.

Princess campground is very nice and tranquil, away from the hustle and bustle of some of the campgrounds closer to the sequoia groves. There is no available water at this campground so make sure to bring enough for your stay. There is a beautiful meadow to walk around and only a couple of miles to Hume Lake. We had our own port-a-potty, so I cannot comment on the vault toilets, but I am never a fan of them so I come prepared. We stayed in spot #69, which was really nice and roomy. The area where your tent goes is in the sun during the day, but that's good to warm it up for the nighttime. Also there are couple of trees to hang your hammocks.

Nice campground, restrooms were clean, campsite was easy to get a 32 ft 5th wheel in. Camp hosts were friendly and doing a good job. We will be back

Beautiful campsite with lots of shade. The only downside is that you can smell a bit of the vault restroom from the site, not too pungent though. The site was relatively flat and we slept comfortably. Would come again!

The hosts were amazing and very helpful with everything. The bathroom were very clean. We hope they are the host every time we come. Thanks again.

Great campground overall, but this site is steeply sloped and doesn't have an easy or comfortable place to put a tent. The managers could move the picnic table to one side and create a much better tent site in doing so.

Really nice campground - has the basic amenities (picnic table, fire ring, pit toilets and drinking water). Elevated by the natural beauty, nicely spaced trees, and cool sequoia stumps at many of the campsites. Our boys enjoyed crawling around on them. Some of the campsites are quite close together and noise can be an issue. The campground managers had firewood available for purchase, which we bought for the first night, but you can collect pretty much all you need if you go looking for it. There's a great 2/3 mile nature hike adjacent to the campground, and it's only a 10 minute drive from Hume Lake and the Grant Tree visitor loop - both of which were awesome.

Pretty big space, plenty of room for parking several cars or even trailer. Not far from water/toilets and far-enough from main road so it is silent at night. Toilets clean and free from smell. Very good experience.

70 was great for our stay! It was level for our 28 ft trailer. Backing up to the highway was the downside. In a tent it lit up every time cars went by. It has good shade mixed with sun for solar. Dump fees are $20 and it is a great base camp location. The couple hosting are great too. :)

Great campground with lovely and informative hosts! Set amongst beautiful trees and saw some deer as well. Be sure to check out the nearby meadow and trail. Bathrooms were vault toilets and extremely well kept; our site was near the bathrooms and you couldnt smell it at all. Slight downside to the campground is sites can be close together. I noticed that the sites on the Shining Cloud loop seemed to be more spaced out and private; some sites on the Yellow Moon and Morning Star loops are backed up onto each other, and thus a bit less private. Otherwise, a wonderful base camp to explore Kings Canyon NP!

Been coming to this campground for the last 10 years, really enjoy it here, very peaceful, the host are very friendly and they always keep the bathrooms clean.
@Catherine84566 · Camped on Jul 4, 2024 at Campsite #61
nice campsite- right next to the bathroom and exit. seems to be more of a family campsite so can get loud with kids and music. not much shade at this specific site- came last week and the sun was shining bright on our tent in the morning. no water sources on each campsite so you have to go to the bathroom area (not a problem since it's right next door). came from lodgepole the day before so definitely not as good as that one in comparison!

Book a long stay here. The campground is close enough to Hume Lake, Grants Groove and Cedar Groove for day trips. There is a paved and accessible trail adjacent to the campground perfect for walks with the family. Water and RV dump in campground. Vault toilets are cleaned regularly. Hosts are friendly and helpful. A day trip to the sister NP Sequioas is possible as well. Something for everyone here.

Nice, quiet camping spot, clean restrooms with plenty of toilet paper and clean running water. It has a nice trail by the meadows, with many dear to observe. Just don't forget your bug repellent.

Close to other campsites but still having good privacy. We like more people around us so we love this site. Restroom is very clean. Easy to access water. No internet service for T-mobile.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
