Very clean and most are level I wish they had a dump station available. There is a clean out valve by the restrooms/showers so they COULD make one available. They added a motion light to restrooms which is nice at night. The dirt road just past the transition from asphalt needs to be filled in. HUGE gullies and hard to go around with big rig, BIG BUMP in the road! Jarring!

Campground, bathrooms clean, hosts helpful. Trails needed some work, but it was our understanding that a crew was coming out soon. We wondered how soon when people cancel are the site opened to reserve again..we wanted to stay longer

One of the shower heads is not very good and some of the trails need better signs saying where or what trail it is. there was a tree down one pct by mission springs again. aspen trail up was needing some work .

Campground was great, our group had a great time. We had reserved 8 out of the 11 campsites so we basically had the entire campground.

Loved the hot showers! Fabulous host and spaces liked the corrals. What was a bummer was when a large group of people came in a bunch partied most of the night screaming like teens at a football game, had no concern for others. When asked to keep it down continued. Finally, Host asked them to break it up. We then listened all night to someone who ran their generator, who does that all night? So the place is awesome, trails were great, it's the inconsideration of PEOPLE that made it a 4 star review. I was told along time ago, you can't change stupid.

One of my favorite horse campgrounds. Kept up well. Camp host was very attentive.

Wildhorse is a favorite destination to horse camp. It is kept well groomed for a rustic campground. The spaces offer plenty of room. I was pleased that the restrooms were kept clean and the showers were available. The camp host Robert was so nice and helpful.

The camp site was in very good condition & we were so happy to have the restrooms & shower available to us. Our camp host Robert was equally wonderful. A great experience. We shall return next year! Erin

I've been to this campground twice for equestrian camping adventures. It's one of the best horse campgrounds I've been to. Aside from the amazing trails and beautiful trails, the facilities are clean and well maintained. You can't beat the flush toilets and hot showers (although the showers were closed because of COVID for this trip). Bob, the camp host this year, is personable and made frequent visits to clean the facilities and provided updated info about the nearby fire that unfortunately cut our camping adventure short. The only negative is the spotty wifi.

The camp ground is clean and well laid out. Ranger is awesome. Loved every minute of our stay. The trails are great for the horses.

I have been coming her for almost 20 yrs. The trails are great for beginners to advanced horse and riders. The camp hosts are very helpful and do an excellent job of keeping the restrooms and showers clean. I highly recommend Wildhorse to anyone looking for a mountain get away with their equine friends.

The road is rutted, the stalls need more decomposed grannet added to every stall. Mostly the added DG to the stalls.
@KathrynT718 · Camped on Aug 16, 2019 at Campsite #1
Campground and facilities are clean. There are multiple trails from easy, moderate to challenging. I come here several times during the Summer.
@KennethP513 · Camped on Aug 16, 2019 at Campsite #3
Love this camp! We try to stay here 3-4 trips a season. We always have a great experience. Surrounding area, The homeless people were blocking some of the trails in Yellow Posts camps and cussing anyone using the trails. The trails need repairing after fires and heavy rain damage. Heart Bar Eq Group Camp could use some maintenance. Stall concrete bases are exposed. Needs dirt.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
