Having potable water available would have been perfect. Thanks.

Could not get to campsite due to road closures. Site is very rural and the first two attempts I made were unsuccessful. Found a ranger that informed me I needed to take a third and longer detour (2-3 hours) to get to site. I did not attempt as it was getting dark and I am unfamiliar with the area. Found a roadside campsite for the night instead.

Campground was clean, cleared of burned trees (lots of firewood available) and the only downside was that there was no potable water due to some previous contamination such that the water was not yet cleared for human consumption.

The Salmon River is amazing! So beautiful, nice, chilly and fun to hike around (bring your hiking boots. It is also very popular for white water rafting.

Great campsite. Well water information was confusing. One page said no water at Boundary and on the same page, it listed water was available.

Rangers were very helpful. Commercial outfitters and private groups worked well together. Watch out for rogue chipmunks that may try to hitch a ride in your car. There are pikas!

The rangers were amazing and the facilities were clean. The rangers were extremely helpful when a friend was injured. Their quick response helped us get him to a medical facility quickly and he was still able to go on our river trip. Thanks!

Be prepared! The last hour of driving is through the forest on the side of the mountain. Roads are kind of scary the first time you drive in. Stanely is close by and has about everything you'll need. The site was nice!

Reasonable campsite. No camp manager present. Issues with people taking reserved campsite from people who had reservation.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
