Bulltrout caught on fire the night before we got to go. Maybe next year. And it was so hard to get reservations. Every day getting up and on the computer early to reserve.

Nice quiet lake campground. Stayed in site 3. While there was little privacy in the campsite (the fire ring and bench are adjacent to the parking spot of site 1), site 3 does have a very nice small private sandy beach for lake access.

We went to Bull Trout and our favorite campsite 16 on the Martin Lake side. We had one rainy day but that was fine. We had one issue with a neighbor camper, but the camp host took care of it. My husband had two AFib episodes while we were there and the camp host (I think her name was Beth) told me she could use her radio to get an ambulance or helicopter if needed. Luckily, we didn't need to call for emergency help but she sure was reassuring. She also came by to check up on my husband multiple times during our weeklong stay.

Great spacious and clean campground. Stayed in site 9 which was fairly large and had good tree coverage. The day use parking/boat ramp fall between sites 9 and 10 which I was unaware of but everyone was respectful so not really an issue. There is also a life jacket loaner station there as well. Site 10 was also a little closer to us than what I expected. The camp host was amazingly kind and polite, and she also had bundles of firewood for sale($5) in case you run out like we did. The vault toilet by our site was exceptionally clean and literally the best Ive ever seen. Plenty of places to walk around throughout the camp as well as other places to explore on the road up towards Stanley

Martin Lake is serene and lovely. We loved our private campsite. The star gazing was great. We cant wait to return.

The campground itself is very nice. My concerns rest with the Camp Host. There was no clean up of any individual campsites when a camper left. They just drove by and did not make sure the site was clean. They didn't empty the fire pit or anything. Even though they were present at the time, the one bathroom facility ran out of toiler paper for over 24 hours.The camp host made a derogatory comment of one of the visitors concerning how they were driving through the campground. Yes, they were at fault, but the accusation was that they had been doing it repeatedly and were staying in one specific campsite which was totally wrong. They were accusing the wrong person.Lasty, quite hours are supposed to be from 6 am to 10 pm. Why is it the camp host can then run their generator past the 10 o'clock hour?

Great area for camping. Will fit one vehicle comfortably, but there is public and day parking that you might be able to use for a fee. Plenty of walking trails and easy access to the lake. Would recommend - just dont forget the bug spray!

As always, we truly enjoyed our time in at the Bull Trout campground. The camp host, Beth, was wonderful and took care of any and all issues during our stay! Thanks Beth!!!!

Even though we put in the size and length of our vehicle when searching for a site we could barely get our pool trailer to fit in the spot. It took over an hour to back it in and we could not put our slides in awning out as there were trees in the way. There was no place to park our truck at all even though the campsite was supposed to come with parking for one vehicle. The camp host had us moving our truck from site to site the entire time we were there. It was chaos.

Beautiful location and the best-run campground I’ve ever been to!! Camp host is fantastic- very engaged with what is going on around the campground. She has the restrooms clean and stocked, speed limits and quiet hours are enforced, she checks in with campers to see how they are doing and even gives advice and suggestions for fishing. We will definitely be back!

Nice campsites, clean showers and beautiful views. When we checked in we were greeted like family. There’s so much to do in that area and it’s a great home base for visiting Yellowstone.

Weather was fantastic and we really enjoyed all the trails. Heard the wolves a couple of nights off in the distance as well. Campground host, Beth, was fantastic. The restrooms were well maintained and she worked at keeping the speeders down. Thank you Beth for your efforts.

Nice shade by lake front, however, campsite poorly laid out. Tons of space to pitch 4-5 very large tents, but a tiny slot for parking a car? Picnic table and firepit completely off to the side rather than centered in the campsite. The guy in #6 kept looking at me like I was using "his" firepit and picnic table. Restroom out of order :(

This campsite was a little slice of heaven, I honestly contemplated reviewing it because it want to keep this gem hidden. We were originally booking in an equestrian site but we don't own horses the camp host left us a little sticky note (there is not cell service) on the fence when we arrived to let us know that our campsite had been moved. We drove down the dirt road a little more and went to our new site, as well pulled up we were greated with the best lake view and a massive campsite. There isn't that many amenities at this campsite, it's a pack in pack our but there is a dumpster and vault toilets one for every I'd say 8 or 9 sites. The views were the best part, the camp hosts were kind and frequently driving through to make sure we are ok. They do sell wood bundles for $5 which was great because we ran out of wood multiple time and driving to Stanley they wanted $13 a bundle. This is now our favorite campsite and we will for sure be back!

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
