Burlingame State Park, located to the south, provides lakeside camping with opportunities for swimming, boating, and hiking. Lincoln Woods State Park, located to the north, offers camping with access to hiking trails, fishing, and a swimming area. Terryville Recreation Area, located to the west, provides campsites surrounded by nature with a variety of recreational activities. East Beach Campground, located along the coast, offers camping with scenic ocean views, ideal for beach lovers. Arcadia Management Area, located to the southwest, offers rustic camping surrounded by woods and hiking opportunities.

Barnes Field Campground is located in the Androscoggin Ranger District, White Mountain National Forest (1 hr 38 min west of Lewiston, ME) with an elevation of 1,286 feet. There are a total of 11 campsites including 4 tent-only sites. The campground is open all year. 7 sites can accommodate RVs and trailers up to 40 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. Prices start at $45.00 per night. Activities include hiking trails.

Alosa Campsites Campground in Northampton County is located 38 min east of East Stroudsburg, PA with an elevation of 327 feet. There are a total of 6 campsites which are all tent-only sites. The campground is normally open from mid April to mid November. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. Prices start at $16.00 per night. Some amenities include swimming. Activities include boating, fishing, hiking trails, floating sports.
