Warwick, a city rich in maritime history, offers easy access to excellent camping spots. Burlingame State Park in nearby Charlestown provides over 700 campsites and scenic hiking trails around Watchaug Pond. Fishermen’s Memorial State Park is another great coastal option with fishing and boating opportunities. George Washington State Campground in Glocester offers a more secluded camping experience with miles of wooded trails. If you’re looking for an island adventure, head to Campground at Fort Getty in Jamestown for waterfront views.

Barnes Field Campground is located in the Androscoggin Ranger District, White Mountain National Forest (1 hr 38 min west of Lewiston, ME) with an elevation of 1,286 feet. There are a total of 11 campsites including 4 tent-only sites. The campground is open all year. 7 sites can accommodate RVs and trailers up to 40 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. Prices start at $45.00 per night. Activities include hiking trails.

Alosa Campsites Campground in Northampton County is located 38 min east of East Stroudsburg, PA with an elevation of 327 feet. There are a total of 6 campsites which are all tent-only sites. The campground is normally open from mid April to mid November. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. Prices start at $16.00 per night. Some amenities include swimming. Activities include boating, fishing, hiking trails, floating sports.
