I have camped at this campground many times and it is a very nice campground. I have camped at this campsite twice and it is shady,flat, and has lots of room. Bathrooms and showers are close. Not usually a bear problem unless you leave trash out. I put my coolers in my truck n cover them with a tarp. I have camped hundreds of times and I dont care what people say about smell. It is not smell but they know what an ice chest looks like . Cover them completely with a tarp n I have never had a problem even when numerous campers nearby were getting hit .

Grasshopper is one of my favorite campgrounds. It's always very clean and the sites are spaced out providing plenty of privacy. Also, there's a wonderful bike trail across the road. It's definitely a winner!

This is a great location for camping, offers shade cover, short walk to the water and a great campsite to relax in.

Grasshopper was beautiful. The lake was really high and the facilities were good and the hosts were magnificent.

Campground was spacious and very clean. Our site had a short distant walk to the water with a great view. The only real downside is that swimming was not as accessible (we did find some areas ) and there were bugs by the water that bit the family.

We love Lake Davis and Grasshopper Flats campground. It is so beautiful and we did really well on our catfish fishing! Not as many people camping during the week as on weekends, one if the perks of retirement. We always meet the friendliest people here. In the Top 3 of best places to camp.

Nice site. Drained well from a hard rain. Quiet over Labor Day.

Experience was amazing. My family and friends had a great time. We were only scared of the spiders in the bathroom but it's to be expected. We had an amazing time and the host were kind and helpful. Walk to the lake was short and beautiful even with the little rain we encountered.

The site was good, the host was awesome.But the water was not potable and the restrooms and showers were therefore unusable.You should have told us about this so we could prepare. This is VITAL.

Noisy on weekend nights.

Our camp site was a bit weird. The fire pit was behind our RV and down a uneven course. The only other issue we had was there was a 3 party group around us that partied, loudly every night until 1 am. The camp host was no where to be found and we did not feel comfortable approaching the group to ask that they take the party inside the party campsite!

The campground was quiet and clean. We were there from Monday to Friday.

Of the five days we were there, we did not see a camp host. No one collecting money or clean the bathrooms or grounds

Even though a tree had fallen in our original spot the camp host “Dale” accomedated our needs. Great job! Thanks! We had a wonderful anniversary! And a special thanks to Brenda at grizzly camp grounds for her and Sean’s help in making it a wonderful time as well! We loved it 😊.

The place was weirdly deserted. No one on the lake. Dead fish everywhere on the shoreline. Saw a "Blue Green Algae" warning posted in the campground, so we cut our trip short so we (and our dogs) didn't get sick. There's no rangers or camp host in the area, so people blaring their music and blasting their generators all day cold not be managed. I could deal with that stuff, but the poisoned water needs to be announced on the internet so people don't waste their time and money going to this area for water activities.
@KevinM8804744 · Camped on Jul 6, 2023 at Campsite #50
The restrooms were disgusting even for a campground. Camp hostess knew nothing about fishing on the lake. She said we didn’t need fishing licenses.

Access was very nice and lots of shade, was able to see the boat from camp which was a plus. Now I see why this site is always booked.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
