Restrooms were very dirty. Never cleaned in the 5 days we were there. Campground is run down. It needs major repairs.

It was very good. Just don't like the spots being small ie one vehicle we had friends that came and visit and had to park outside.

We enjoyed our stay at Grizzly! The sites are large, level, and surrounded by beautiful trees. A shirt walk through the campground to Lake Davis. Clean bathrooms. Flush toilets. Friendly and helpful host.

Great campground, easy to access Lake Davis, bathrooms were immaculate and the camp hosts were awesome!

The lake and campsites were amazing. Very clean! My only recommendation is to have showers and to have flat pads for the campsites that are on a slope, for tents. Camp host was very friendly!

Grizzly is a quiet campground with spacious sites. Easy walking distance to the water. Sites are always clean and well kept.

Camp host was very nice! I have camped here for years and they were some of my favorites! Campsite was awesome! Had the area for a tent all raked out, it was free of garbage and they had buckets at every faucet if needed! Stayed 3 nights and had a wonderful time!

Nice campground close to the main road, but tucked down the hill where it is nice and peaceful. We came for the Lost and Found Gravel Festival and it was the perfect location to catch all the cyclists heading up into the hills. Wish the bathrooms were stocked with soap and paper towels, but that seems to be the way things are going now. Camp host and rangers were very nice and would stop by to chat. Nice quiet campground next to the lake.

Grizzly is one of our favorite campgrounds. It would be 5 stars, but Lake Davis is pretty low right now.

Your lots are not that level and hard to get into. Your piers should be adjusted or removed to allow easier access to the spot. Camp Host was great. He helped a lot of people in our group from church.

It was a nice campground. We definitely need a good winter. It did rain once while we were there which was amazing! I definitely think they need bear containers. We’re tent campers and felt uncomfortable keeping our food out! The sites are spacious. The bathrooms were ok.

Campsite was good; we were close to a bald eagle nest. However, on our trip, the potable water had been contaminated so we needed to bring in our own. Bathrooms and showers (in neighboring Honker Cove) were clean and neighboring campers were respectful of quiet times.
@ValerieD280996 · Camped on Jul 28, 2022 at Campsite #44
There was no fresh water available. It would have been good to get a message about this before we arrived as we had to scramble to buy more water. Also, nothing was posted in the campground, we just saw the spouts covered.

The On-Site Hosts Linda and Kathy were very helpful and pleasant. Laurel the Site Manager was an excellent resource for information on the Pluma Recreation Area.

Great site, clean of trash. Camp host Brian was on it!

Great camp site close the lake and had showers! The hosts were excellent in Grizzly and Grasshopper, met them both.

The curfew is not enforce. Loud music, adults and teenagers ruined the nighttime forest experience. Didn't see anyone patrolling on a regular basis.

I love this campground. It’s me and my family favorite. We were unable to get the usual spots this year so we got different spots. One spot had a big log right as we step out of the trailer. I actually fell over it and scratched up my leg. Like why don’t they remove it. It is obviously a trip hazard.Then my sister’s spot had so many ants that it was difficult to sit outside. We called it New Ant City. Hope we get different spots for next year.

Camp site and Campgrounds were nice and clean. My only problem was the one vehicle per site unless you paid an extra $8 a day for a second vehicle.
@EddieB408 · Camped on Jun 27, 2021 at Campsite #15
Tony did not reside in the camp host site. I suspect you are having trouble staffing it. Tony was kind. However, I did not like his repeated suggestions my dog be leashed. But, it’s the law and I get it. My fire pit was not cleaned in advance of my arrival. Something that has bothered me about grizzly for a long time is the lack of a hydrant to fill my trailer with water upon my arrival. You provide several fresh water paddle operated faucets. However, there is no threaded water hydrant to connect a hose and fill a fresh water tank on a trailer. Given the host site was empty I was able to back in there and fill up that way. I hope you’ll in stall a hydrant. I love grizzly I just wish for a hydrant. That’s all.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
