Camp hosts were helpful and friendly, and kept the restroom clean and stocked.Unfortunately, the restroom needs repair: one did not work and the other had a leaking faucet pipe.

Upon arrival, no camp host was spotted on site for check in or questions. As the evening progressed, a large group was stuffed into a single camp site and had vehicles parked all over blocking the restrooms and road way. The following evening the large group cut down a tree and burned it in a large bonfire style late into the evening. The camp host did not make the normal rounds at the quiet time of 10pm. Generators and parties were going late into the early hours of daybreak. Bathrooms had no lighting and felt unsafe. Very tight turns and many of the sites are not trailer friendly. Posted showers open online but when needed, sign on the door said Closed use the showers at Big Cove. The campground suggested is several miles away.

This site is actually amazing. We have had a few large gatherings here and loved it. I'm leaving a bad review because there was a trash can just for that site last year but not now and the handicap flushing toilets were out of order. These are the features that make hosting a large group comfortable and what I paid a premium for. So this review Is actually a complaint form because I couldn't find one in the app. 5 stars if they bring the trash cans back, 4 stars without the cans but with working toilets

No working shower in the campsite. You have to drive a confusing road 10 mins or more to get in a shower that working but no ranger around to open the door and have to pay $4 per person. Faucet is very very cold! Is like washing your hand with water full of ice! No privacy ! cars is driving rouming around in our site 24/7 in our campsite that we privately booked!

Tranquilo. Bueno. Pero falto las regaderas. No estaban en funcionamiento.Don't worry. Well. But the showers are missing. They weren't in operation

We camped on Monday and Tuesday July 17th and 18th. There was no water available as they were cleaning the tank. We received no communication about no water, so we were very disappointed and frustrated.

Cottonwood Springs is a great campground. The campsites had great shade from the pine trees and the fire pits were clean. I enjoyed the hike to the lake (about 1/2 mile) and overall very quiet.

Per the description on website, there was running water and restrooms. However on arrival all bathrooms were locked and there was no porta pottys available. There was also no running water. Which had they informed us we could of been better prepared or at least cancel our reservation.

Showers have been closed for more than 2 years. Paying extra for dumping tanks is not acceptable. As nice as this campground is, it should have water and electric as a minimum.

It was so very clean and staff was great. I wish that the shower wasn’t out of order. We will definitely come back

Our large group has been coming here for years. Very nice campground. Bathrooms are clean…BUT…for the 2nd year in a row the showers have not been working. Very disappointing since they have had plenty of time to fix them. There are showers in a neighboring campground but is a 15 minute drive each way.

Wonderful campground. Quiet and very clean. Not an easy walk to the water so we just drove to one of the day use areas very close by.

we've camped Cottonwood for over a decade. last year the forestry did some clearing, and it wasn't cleaned very well. This year the campground is under new mngmt. We didn't have a host. but we had a good time.

The only problem we had was a family in the group section letting their dogs run loose, and their kids screaming way pas 10pm, even after the camp host asked them to be quiet.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
