The camp host keeps everything immaculate! Shes pretty low profile but you can see how hard she works keeping the brush cut, the outhouses clean (and deodorized!!) and the camp sites picked up. She deserves 5 !

Great place to stay. Nice clean camp sites and picnic area. Host was very accommodating.

This spot was perfect for our little family. We stayed in site 11 and it had lots of shade, privacy, and two picnic tables. It was near the bathroom but not too close and right next to the water pump and next to the creek. The road noise could be distracting at times but honestly not horrible.

Great campground for access to the Weiser River Trail. Bathrooms were clean. Walking by some of the tent sites there was a lot of trash in the fire rings that never got cleaned out the whole time we were there (5 nights). RV sites were good with two double sites. #12 is a pull through site with the best river access. The only downside to the campground is that its right off the highway so you do get the noise from it but it does die down in the evening. Council is pretty close to the south and has a couple good thrift stores. New Meadows is north, also a good area for thrifting.

Loved that this campground wasn’t very crowded - was peaceful and scenic with the exception of the sound of traffic on the highway. Our campsite #12 had good shade for part of the campsite, though the tent pad was full sun (and quite a few holes) We were quite close to the highway so could hear traffic through the night. Vault toilet was cleanest I’ve ever encountered. Water pump with potable water is tricky to use with one person. Scenery was beautiful, loved the sound of the river. If we come back, will get site #5 or 6 as they are further from traffic!

We love this campground. Bathrooms are immaculate. Pretty quiet at night too considering the highway is close.

This easy-to-access campground is small (only 12 sites) but each site is quite private. Since it is just across the Weiser River from US Highway 95 there is highway noise but it was not at all unbearable. We were there in the days following Labor Day so there were very few rigs in the campground. The restrooms were clean. The well (hand pump) provided cold water. The elderberry bushes were loaded with fruit. Overall it was a great experience and we will be back.

Beautiful campsite right on the Weiser River Trail. Only bummer is how close it is to the busy highway.

Site #12: Thick bramble prevented hanging the hammocks and significant road noise from US-95, but neither bothered us much. The access to the Weiser River was lovely with small fish and crawdads a plenty. Great shade and absolutely the CLEANEST vault toilets we have ever used, and we use them at every campground we visit! Star-gazing was stunning even through the August smoke which seemed to go around us. It was a great launch for a day of riding the side by side!

We have been to Evergreen many times in the past and it is a beautiful setting. The problem we had this visit was being driven out by yellow jackets and hornets. We couldn't have any food open or do any cooking without being swarmed. Two in our party were stung and we finally resorted to cooking after dark and leaving early.

Excellent campground. Site was well maintained. Took lots of leveling blocks to get level. Close to the river with shaded tables. Restroom was ean and well maintained. Loved the accessibility to the Weiser River trail.

Except for evening road noise, this is a great campground. We appreciate the opportunity to walk on the trail by the camp (old RR right of way). Very nice (substitute) host.
@LindseyB902967 · Camped on Jun 18, 2022 at Campsite #12
Our biggest problem was there were 10x10 squares, lined with wood, at every campsite for tents- so if you have a non-square tent it's almost impossible to find a place. The camp host was helpful and moved us to a double spot& we put our tent on the asphalt. Clean bathrooms, beautiful trees, kinda loud bc it's pretty close to road. Weiser River trail(old railway track) was nice. Would come back with smaller tent& bikes.

It was green for sure and a very pretty camp ground. The bike lane along the Weiser river was way cool. Zimm's Hot Springs is not far away and is a nice outing. However, the camp ground is too close to the highway and there was a lot of traffic noise including trucks honking all during the day at a certain point on highway 95...about milepost 149. We probably will not go back because of the noisy traffic.

Close to road. Quite noisy. Good for a quick overnight stop on your way to other places.

There are so many bunnies and chipmunks at this campground.

Beautiful site and campground was great!

Loved our trip there, but beware the #10 side is a bit hard to get a trailer into. Have a 21.5 foot trailer and an F250 4X4. Site it perpendicular to the road so minimal room to back in a trailer. We did it barely!
@MaeghanS896 · Camped on Aug 5, 2020 at Campsite #11
Cleanest bathroom and smelled good! Best one on our two week tenting trip through California, Oregon, Idaho, and Nevada. Great little campsite. Quite private and lots of room. Nice water pump. 👍

Excellent site for a short stay - right next to the stream.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
