The site was okay. Actually, I've just been dealing with lots of issues at recreation.gov that I get hanged up on if I try to get resolved or my reservations disappear. I've had you guys make the reservations when I've called in and been having problems. And it's there, but guess what? It goes away I have had it. What is going on? You have got to help me. This is the most miserable vacation I've ever been on and I'm a hundreds of miles away from home trying to find this first camping. You guys probably won't even read this because it's too long but I've really had it. And I know it's not your kids having problems.Maybe that would help but it's not your kids and who weekends of this drop reservations that camp hosts have made for me?I know it's not me. OKI know it's not just me, but when campus can't make reservations that stay.How am I supposed to

This was our first visit to this campground. The place is spotless! The restrooms and campsites too. Many props to the hosts, who were really nice and tried to help us switch our site. There is a great day area with picnic tables, a covered pavilion, and horseshoe pits. Three trails take you down to the Umpqua River. There are shallow areas where you can wade or swim. The rivers views from the campsites are not great, as shrubs and trees have grow in. It would be nice if some of the views could be restored. We really enjoyed our visit and hope to return again next year.

This was a delightful small campground with a brand new host. She had raked our campground with pretty designs. The vault toilets made a loud growling noise that she didn't know about but said she would look into. There was also poison oak reaching over the paved walkways everywhere. This is not friendly for anyone, but especially children. The lot was spacious. We would go again.

The camp was very clean and well maintained. Camp sites close to the road and was noisy. Friendly camp hosts.

The camp host was gone arrived Friday left Sunday never saw them. Firewood was locked up- bathrooms didnt get tended to. All signs said 5/4-5 Hunter through entire campground. Which was the weekend prior.. leads me to think hosts had been gone much longer. Bummer about no firewood access woulda been nice.

I have lost count of the number of times I have enjoyed Tyee Campground. It is one of my most favorite campgrounds. The sites are always clean and no trash can be found anywhere. Several sites with a river view. The fire pits are the kind that are high and nice to cook on. Fire wood is available for purchase. Picnic tables are wheelchair accessible. The ports-potty is always clean and filled with paper. The water is potable and garbage cans conveniently located. Nice trail to walk or hike. The park is paved and nice if you have children with bikes or scooters. Horseshoe pits and an open area for outdoor games. What made my visits so special over the years was having Earl as a park host. Earl made rounds on the golf cart and always welcomed campers with a hello and smile. Earl is retiring and as happy as I am for his retirement I will miss him at Tyee Campground. We campers were gifted to enjoy volunteer Earl.No cell service. Reservations must be made online. There is a cell phone for local calls. You can call during business hours to reserve a site. Most sites are shaded with beautiful trees. If you're dependent on solar it could be a challenge. Only negative is that one has to eventually leave.

Tranquil spot with lovely river views. Camp hosts very friendly and helpful.

Camp was very beautiful, campsite 1 is definitely the most secluded. The host told us to move to a different site early in the morning, hours before our reservation was up which was very weird.

As always, clean, quiet, well-maintained campground. Hosts are always right on top of everything. Great little place.

The excellent button would not pick but the CG is wonderful! It is very clean and well thought out. The host helped with my reservation since there is no internet. It was cold and rainy and he was out working away, and cheerful.

This is a great little campground. Cleanest pit toilets ever! Earl does an amazing job keeping this place clean. Lots of trees and acorns but very nice.

This campground was very well managed. We loved fishing right in the river just a short walk from the camp. The bathroom were very clean and smelled nice everytime. Not sure I loved being right next to the road (it was a little noisy for a tent sleeper) but since we stayed in our camper it didn't bother us too much. Will definitely come back!

Campground and the host were awesome, however the campsite fees are listed as a set price and then you have to pay a 8 dollar fee to make a reservation kind of a joke!

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
