Very nice campsites, though a few more 50 amp sites would be nice. James and Tammy are wonderful

Our second time to this campground and loved it both times. One was off season, in the fall, not many people were around but still loved it. Poker run weekend on the lake and from our site, you could not have gotten a better vantage point to watch all the activity

Decent area for camping. The restroom and shower facilities are significantly lacking. Be sure to bring your own toilet paper and soap. Also bring a mower, weed eater, and blower. Youll probably have to clean up your campsite. The people that do this dont seem to care about this aspect of the park. Also, depending on where your campsite is, you could need up 100 ft of hose to connect to a water source. Good luck and have fun.

Campsite was clean and quiet, I think it poses a huge safety risk having the gates shut at 10:00pm if there was a fire or medical emergency the delayed time in opening the gate could cost a life or loss of property.

Campground was mowed and clean. Great time at the lake in spite of the intense heat.

Need to fix sewer pump for full service campsites can actually be full service

The grounds were not mowed and we had to go home (25 miles one way) to get our lawnmower & weed eater to mow around the 4 camp sites we and our family and friends had rented. The grass was calf high when we got there and we were there 2 weeks without any mowing done, except what we did. Other campers were driving by to ask why our grass was mowed and the rest of the park was not.

Our campsite was great although there were flossing picks scattered all over the ground. Charcoal grill was full of trash. The view has been blocked by to many boat slips built recently in the cove. Im sure that was politics involved to allow that. The playground equipment is in bad need of repairs. Who cares about the children? I do. This was once a great campsite for families. Maybe someday it will have better management and have a safer environment. My credit card charged me for an extra night because the camp host was having computer issues. I know some of these issues cant be solved locally, like to many boat slips allowed to be built, but maybe som of it can. Thanks to those that care.

Location good but the power supply connection on several of the campsites need servicing badly, very old and corroded connections may cause RV issues not wanted by campers

Great park. We were in spot 9 pull through. Our motorhome was perfectly level without and adjustments. Clean showers and bathrooms. Had full scale 5G with Verizon and AT&T. We Will be back.

So the site was almost perfect. We had a level spot for our camper, a great working grill, and it was very clean and the views were spectacular. The only thing I would complain about was there was active ant colonies all over and around the pad. I was stung six times by fire ants that I didn't see on my feet when we were sitting outside on the pad looking at the stars the first night. It would be great if you guys could somehow spray for ants, at least around the perimeter. We've never really experienced this issue before. Next time I'll bring something with us for prevention. It didn't ruin our trip. The views and friends and fun made up for it. Thank you!

Great park and the nicest staff!! Besides the courtesy dock, bathrooms and the childrens play areas requiring much needed attention for repairs, the grounds were well kept.

Fishing was good. There was no water at times. Restrooms locked. One dump station closed. The playground had broken equipment that needs replaced, dangerous for children. A lot of day use not paying and camps taken not occupied.Self pay for camps not recognized. We liked camping there for years but it’s slowly going down hill. Hope we get some new management soon.

Very nice facility, camp hosts helpful and courteous. First camping at this lake, will likely try others but will also return here as now I know the place.

Absolutely love Petit Bay! Usually stay at Elk Creek but ventured out to Petit Bay when Elk Creek was full and was not at all disappointed. Ensure your site has water hookups if you are parking a trailer or RV, ours did not, but it wasn't an issue. We were able to stretch a hose across the road to another site so that we could fill our fresh water tank. The people who run the place are so pleasant and helpful with any issues you have. Highly recommend this park!

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Campground was great. It was very quiet. We originally had a primitive slot (PB2 30) with only electric, but the staff helped us find a slot that was close to the shore with water and electric (PB2 17) that was open for the remainder of our stay. I'd recommend staying away from the marina as much as possible. There were a lot of boats that were coming in late at night with their music playing after a long day on the lake. Other than that, our stay was great and will be back at either PB1 or 2.

Had a good experience with camping in the park with the exception of the speed of traffic driving through the park. It was too fast.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
