Location was convenient to the Choctaw Labor Day Festival at Tuskahoma. Nice shade trees and quiet location.

Campsite isnt level and you will have a difficult time leveling your camper. Your Camp amenities are behind your camper. It is close to the water if you have a boat or pwc.

Had a great time. Just a bit hot.

Nice quiet spot for the heat of summer. It was not cool, but there was shade and a frequent breeze from the lake. Restrooms were clean and grounds well maintained. The trail between Central and South campsites was a pleasure to explore.

Not laid out very well for tent camping. Lack of swimming access to the lake was disappointing.

We were told there were improvements made to the park this winter, did not see any... The spaces really need to be repaved, even widen some. We did enjoy most of the stay, on the weekends it tends to get a little louder, means the younger are enjoying the park! That's good to know. The showers still get good and hot!Look out when you get ready to leave! There is a grate over the sewer dump! You can no longer insert your hose into the drainpipe to empty your black tank, so it makes a terrible mess, splashing all over. If it weren't for the problem with the tank emptying this would still be our favorite spot!

Absolutely loved it! We did camp for our marriage anniversary and we had a wonderful time. Well maintained restrooms and friendly staff.

Sardis lake is a very relaxing place, quiet, and quite beautiful. All campsites are close to the water and well maintained. Bathrooms are clean and showers are nice . Our campsite and one other had a green metal cover over the picnic table . There was no phone service for Verizon users. Other than those things , it was a very enjoyable place and I would recommend it to anyone. We plan on coming back in the future.

Campsites were in good shape. The pavilion at Group A was a severe letdown. We had 4 inches of leaves under all the tables and in most of the common area. This was not random leaves that had blown in, this was thick matted leaves, dirt and sticks. The fireplace had to be cleaned out so we could use it. One of the lights did not work at all and the other one mostly flickered and worked some of the time. Would expect a clean pavilion to use for the group. Overall I felt our group was disappointed in the location and will most likely not consider this as a destination in the future.

A beautifully kept camping area. We received a warm welcome from our camp host. So peaceful and quiet. The eclipse didn't disappoint.

Really nice campground. Host were super nice and made a requested site change for us, to a more level spot.

Wish we couldve stayed longer despite the weather. Very tranquil, clean, and peaceful campground. Never worried about crime or noisy neighbors. Jimmy and his family are super friendly and helpful. He and park rangers make multiple checks on sites throughout the day. I am now addicted to the water pumped here. Showers were warm and consistent. Caught views of bald eagles and pileated woodpecker. Geese can get loud but it beats sirens and city noise. Id never camp elsewhere in Oklahoma.

Very nice stay, despite the weather. Bathroom and showers were clean. But be forewarned, very few of the sites are even close to level. They either slope significantly toward the front or toward the back. Not a big problem, just be sure you are prepared.Overall, we enjoyed ourselves and will make plans to return in the future.

The group A campsite was wonderful. I loved how we all had our own camping space and then a common area to meet at.
@JonathanK98137 · Camped on Oct 8, 2023 at Campsite #C60
This campground is CONSISTENTLY EXCELLENT. I have stayed monthly at this campground for nearly three years. However, DEEPLY DISAPPOINTED to discover they will be closing for the winter this year. I count on being able to camp here year round, and now am forced to select a different campground for the winter months....and none of the surrounding campgrounds have any cell signal, or they are also closed. Hoping next winter they choose to stay open year round!

Campground was clean and quiet.

Very Well Maintained Park. ((((CLEAN & QUITE))))Shower House could use a better cleaning! (We never saw anyone cleaning them, and the spiders / bugs were bad)We wished they had full hookups, (only Electric, & Water where we stayed) PSA - we did see a lady cleaning the Bathrooms, but not the Shower Rooms!Watch out for the Fire Ants! (@ Potato Hills Central the Fire Ants are BAD)Overall a Great place to stay.We stayed for 8 nights!

Great view of the lake, mountains and sky! Choctaw museum nearby and a sandy beach area for swimming.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
