The Gate Attendant was horrible. I pulled up to the gate said we reserved the pavilion by swim beach for birthday party he immediately jumped down my throat saying its not a pavilion its a shelter and regardless you need to check in. I said sir I stopped here to check in he then preceded to say I know yall think yall can make your own rules but we have rules and you will follow them. I said Sir I am a grown adult with respect for rules and we come here all the time and follow rules. He said yeah right. I reported him. We go here all the time and this is the first time I have dealt with him. We have always been welcomed there but this guy ruined it for us.

Site#22 is nice with respect that its right by the water, but for a travel trailer its difficult to level. Theres not much shade until later in the afternoon. If you fish from the shore its awesome, but the swim beach is close by.

Beautiful site with water view and short walking distance to beach & swim area. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Well maintained grounds and campsites! We stayed 5 days. Had a great view from the camper of the lake. 30 amp and a few 50. Pads are not level and a few are extreme! Gate folks were great and friendly! Sandy beach access at your own risk The only con was ...They are a little concerned with guests how many times you come/go. I admit we were a little excessive but we had family/friends in the area! 4 stars

We recently stayed at Heyburn Park on site 22, a pull-through site. The lake is beautiful, and the campgrounds are well-kept. The park ranger and game warden made frequent rounds, which was reassuring. The camp hosts were great too!However, I have some concerns about the site itself. It does not seem suitable for newer RVs with slides. Due to the large boulders creating a cliff down to the grill and picnic table, we couldnt use our rug or awning in front of our camper. Additionally, the water spigot was located far away, which was inconvenient. Leveling the RV was quite challenging as well. Upgrading the site to 50 amp service would be beneficial since we were only able to use one of our air conditioners.We love Heyburn Park, but we wont be staying at this specific site again.

Beautiful park. Well maintained. Google Maps took us on a gravel road to access the park only to find out later there is a paved road leading to the park. First time visitors? Look closely at your route.

Unfortunately our stay here was marred by tornado watches, warnings and heavy thunderstorms. I still give the park 5 stars as it's a lovely park and the attendant was very nice.

Very nice park. We came very early in the season. Camp host was very helpful in assisting with us changing sites as it was not very level nor were they very busy, we were kinda there all by ourselves in April. Overall the grounds were clean. Restroom/showers wereBldg was closed

The roads going in are a little bumpy, but nothing we couldnt navigate with our 42 fifth wheel. The booth entrance was a little tight. Watch your sides! The space we stayed in, 29, was long enough, but a little difficult to back into with the neighbor across having a vehicle parked on the road and a utility pole guy wire at the entrance to the site. The neighbor was kind enough to move for us. In hindsight, space 24 would have been a much easier site to get into. Husband went to use the restroom, but found someone had defecated EVERYWHERE! This is no fault of the facility, people are just disgusting. The grounds were peaceful and beautiful. There was a nice swimming beach. We would likely stay here again if the opportunity arose.

The weather was perfect and that always helps with camping. The restrooms were very clean. The site was exactly as imagined. We hiked the bow hunting area (must have a current hunting license to do this) and also a road to the west that used to be camp sites. We played on the playground with my familys little ones. Some of the playground equipment was old and needed some attention. But it was fine. Overall we had a great time.

Beautiful! No one else around because of off season. Host was very nice and very helpful. Do not follow GPS if it takes you any other way but Rt 66 in Kellyville. You will end up on gravel washboard roads. Look for signs near Dollar General in Kellyville.

This was a little out there but it was a beautiful park. There wasn't many campers there so it was very quiet.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
