Wonderful spot in a pretty cove! Very clean, level, and well kept campground. Lack of signage and GPS issues made it a bit confusing to find, so just double check to make sure you know where you are going. :)

Had spot 28. Nice big level concrete pad with no neighbors next to you on the entry door side.

Love the upgrades that have been done I have camped at east burns many times and the sites look amazing .... wish there was more monitoring if the wake zone seadoos seem to think it doesn't apply to them and run right up on people who are swimming but other then that no complaints i always love my stays

Very well cared for grounds. Nice sites with cement patios which are very large and nice covered picnic table area. Not alot to do if you dont have a boat or fish.

Loved this location! We were right off the water, facilities were great and we will be back. The neighbors were so friendly and never disturbed us. Absolute joy to be here!

Clean, quiet, well maintained. We love camping here. Hopefully they will make all the sites have sewer!

Very site:36The mowing contractor must have been sick for 2 weeks . Had to go back home and get lawn mower and weed eater.Howard, the host, was very attentive to all campers and came around often. Park Rangers were always driving through.Felt very safe by myself for 2 weeks .

We have camped at Burns Run E two times. The campground is clean and well kept. Bathrooms and showers are clean and well kept. The staff is friendly . The kiddos ride their bikes around to meet other kids. Weve had a good experience with the campers around us. Always friendly. The place is quite but not so quite that you cant have fun! They are not strict on parking either. We have been able to park our camper, boat, jet ski, and cars parked in our area. Very spacious. I love easy access to the water! I love how I can see my feet in the water! We set up our Lilly pad, water trampoline ect. No issues. The ONLY thing that I wouldnt do again is stay at spot 39. The insects and raccoons reside in the brush . Lots of shade though. If you do stay here keep your pet food ect locked up because they will come and they will take it. LOL entertaining however I will avoid that spot . The black ants followed us home. Our first trip we spot hopped . We were late booking but it worked out. We didnt mind moving around it gave us the opportunity to try different areas . We have chosen our favorite area! Go choose yours! PS pet friendly and you can set your dog yard up. Close and easy access to boat ramp! Fishing is excellent and a fun experience. Please wear your life jacket !!!!

Although nice and clean this place was overly crowded with people going thru your campsite. Spaces are too close to each other and no beach access from what I saw. I think it's very rude of people to just up and walk through someone's campsite. Will not go there again.

The campsite was amazing! The grounds were well-kept, they had just put in new concrete for the campsites, and there were covered picnic tables, which was a nice touch. The bathrooms were super clean and added to the overall awesome experience.

My site was flooded and had to rearrange and get site with my group. Was charged $10 every time and I did not think that was right to do. I keep moving around to have a site and finally ended up in 17 but it took a lot of changes to get there.

very nice, clean, peaceful looking at the water. Other than an inconsiderate person running a Harley at 5:30 or 6 am, it was a quiet relaxing place.

great park to camp in.

We stayed in Site # 39 for 5 nights. Sites in this loop were all cement, extra wide with a very large patio. Picnic table was covered and sites were all full hook up in our area. Lots of space between sites and the site included a fire ring (we got very good firewood from the Lone Star/Casey's gas station right off the Interstate). Easy access to get into Denison, with lots of options for shopping and dining. We were told there were several wineries downtown, but didn't make it there this trip. Park was very quiet (even though it was full most of the time). The staff at the fee booth were very friendly and answered all our questions about the lake and dam. We will stay here again the next time we are passing through the area.

Wonderful park, one of the better COE parks I have stayed at, but the camp host ruined it for me.IMHO, the camp host should be fired and banned from all RV parks for life after being charged with animal cruelty.This camp host spent his days racing his golf cart, at top speed, chasing the geese from the grassy areas, after which he would go to the shore line and throw rocks at the wildlife to chase them away! When confronted about his actions he stated he had no authority to do such an atrocious act; he was abusing/harassing the wildlife because he wanted to... and he continued to do so for the entire 14 days we were there.

We've been here before and loved it! Especially watching the geese and their babies. This time, the park "attendant" kept driving his golf cart all thru the sites and center field grass area, chasing them away. At one point, he stopped at someone's site, parked, and started throwing rocks at the geese in the water!! If he had hit one, it could have been severely hurt or killed!This guy's time could have been better spent cleaning up all the broken glass and trash on the beach!We're very disappointed in this stay at Burns Run East!
@RichardM509620 · Camped on Apr 9, 2024 at Campsite #29
Very nice park. Large level concrete pad with full hookups. Beautiful view of the water. Only bad experience was the nasty camp host that kept chasing the geese with his golf cart all over the fields and then throwing rocks at them in the water with their babies with them

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
