Huge private group site. Very nice and private. Imagine 4 camp sites all connected together with a bathroom.

I've loved this campsite since we came here with friends in 2016, so we were thrilled to book it out again this year. There is no cell phone service (however, you can drive about a mile or two back out on the main road and get service), so make sure to save the check-in instructions to your phone before you head out to the campsite. Recreation.gov makes it super easy and provides you a code to unlock the gate when you arrive, so be sure to check your email in advance for that information. It's just such a great site, with complete privacy and well maintained facilities, plus plenty of hiking and walking paths nearby. Can't wait to camp here again!

This is a giant group campground. It’s quite lovely. Grouse creek is a beautiful creek. Plenty of huckleberries for all to enjoy. The vault toilet is in excellent shape. It has an old overgrown road on site great for taking strolls. Lots of angelwing and comma butterflies. Nighthawks swooping overhead with there quirky calls. There are bear near by. I found plenty of scat, ergo the angel- wings and commas. The campground is great for 2100 ft elevation it gets light early and stays light late. Downsides where they were working on the road which meant a two hour closure if you were going to the end of the road. Also, there’s a camp somewhere near by that allows dirt bikes and orv’s.

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
