Nice clean park. I arrived mid week & was only camper in park until Weekenders showed up. I was on site #9, 1st site coming in to RV section. Electric only with water fill by dump. You have to circle thru park as if exiting to get to where you fill water. I had lake view with lots of green space to walk the dogs. Site not reall level but I made do. Lots of flys but hung outdoor Fly Trap & never became an issue. Love this quiet park. No camp host until Friday afternoon so if you need anything you're out of luck. Small town of Linton not far. It has gas station, food store & one restaurant.

Beautiful, not cramped and waterfront.

The staff was very helpful and the camphor was very helpful to us for checking in. The grounds are very well kept.

Our site, #009, was beautiful! We had a great view of the lake, but enough shade to shield us from the heat. The driveway was very unlevel, but long enough for our 36' fifth wheel and truck. It was our first time at the park, and with no full-time host, we relied on another camper for water location as there is no water at sites. We did have some issues with our electric, especially after it rained.

We discovered that the breaker (30 amp) would not keep the electricity flowing. It would trip about every 5 minutes, even though we did not have anything on but our lights and the refrigerator in the camper. We spent the whole weekend running in and out to reset the breaker only to have it go out again. So, we could not run our air conditioner or our microwave. We informed the Corp personnel and they said it would have to be fixed. They also told us we would be getting a discount for the inconvenience. We received a measly $6.00 for our discount. Not impressive. The Corp must realize that the new campers have fridges that are not capable of using either gas or electric. They are strictly electric and if the camper should need the air conditioning also, WE MUST HAVE 50 AMP SERVICE! Please consider upgrading the Beaver Creek Recreation Area to 50 amp service.

A great place to go if you want to experience nature and relax. So many things to do with loved ones: camping, hiking, walking, biking, playground, horseshoes, fishing, boating, star gazing etc. We love the simplicity of being away from the rat race.

The vendor pretends to clean restrooms. Several times did not remove same trash in shower or clean toilets over a 2 week stay

Very nice campground - grass kept cut short which was nice. Comfort Station (women's) could have been cleaner. Lots of crickets and other bugs hanging from webs, lots of bugs in the sinks, etc. making it icky to shower! I know, it's the great outdoors, but still.....
@AlW5679539 · Camped on Aug 29, 2023 at Campsite #31
The wash house facilities are in poor shape. I believe they are about as clean as they can be made but the condition is poor. In need of maintenance and major improvements. The showers are in dire need of improvements.

The water is being released so the big monies down stream can have all their barges floating while we are losing our boat ramps due to low water!! This is terrible! This water is just as much ours as it is for those downstream. If the COE can not regulate the dams any better, let someone else such as the States themselves.Also, we bought a new camper with all the high tech gadgets only to find out that we have NO PHONE SERVICE AND NO TELEVISION at Beaver Bay! This can be easily remedied by installing WiFi in the park. I know that other COE parks have WiFi, Why can't Beaver Bay Recreation Area? Is it because of the big monies again? WiFi could be a life saver should something happen where we would require emergency help. Again, another problem is the park has only 30 amp service, which is very much outdated. Most campers recently run on more amps because of the residential refrigeration that is now being installed in them. The park has such potential, but is held back by officials who do not care.

This is a beautiful campground right on the Missouri River. There were nice trails to view the river and plenty of open space for our dogs. As informed on the reservation website, water to the RV site was shared with the site next door. There was no one there, so we were able to have water all to ourselves. Sites were large and flat with some shade. We enjoyed our one night at Beaver Creek.

Great park, very clean and peaceful. This was our second time we have been here. Only 3 campers other than us in the whole park while we were here. Beautiful views. Only draw back of the park is the lakeside sites are set up so the camp side of your camper is facing away from the lake. We will definitely be back to this park when in the area.

Great park!! Our site was overlooking the water. Level, easy to get set up on. Quiet and dark. What else is needed?

Very quiet riverside campground. No flush toilets or showers but other than that, we’ll worth staying here if you’re looking for an out of the way location.

Nice campground. We had a site on the water mid-week and it was really quiet which made for a really enjoyable stay.

We had a great time walking and biking. The kids love the play ground areas. Thanks for keeping the showers clean.

We had a great time at Beaver Creek. One thing I was a little disappointed about was the picture of the site they put on the reservation page. I booked site #41 (pull-through) and the picture was cleverly taken so as NOT to show how steep (un-level) this site actually was. We had to really maneuver our RV to finally make it somewhat level. Sad that they would not pre-warn you of this on the reservation page before you pick that site.

The bathrooms need to be cleaned by someone who knows what they're doing. It was the first major camping weekend and they are filthy, covered in bugs and spider webs all over, not just one the ceiling. The floor could use someone to scrub it as well. The electricity at one of our campsites was also not working and no attempt to fix it was made nor was there a discount offered.
@JamesB7853748 · Camped on May 22, 2023 at Campsite #25
The camp sites themselves are well maintained. The shower facility is disgusting. Both the mens and womens shower rooms are dirty and crawling with bugs, ticks, and spiders. Only one shower in the mens side works!

It was years ago we found this place and it is still as we remember it....the bay is low but much more water than previous years....the sites are spacious and the views are spectacular, grounds are well kept as always and restroom and vault toilets are always clean....if your looking for a great place to just sit back & relax this is it

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
