Fantastic Weekend with great Friends. We were pleasantly surprised with the overall condition of the cabin, despite previous reviews. Black Canyon was was absolutely brutal 1:15 to travel 15 miles. Fishing was fantastic and just hanging out in the shade around the cabin was delightful. Very difficult to get the reservation . Lucked out with a cancellation. Definitely will try and reserve again. We love these two Creeks. Only one suggestion . Please consider installing an approved fire ring in the space in front of the cabin, we were not comfortable starting a fire in the rock pit next to the trees.Tight LinesAllan & Tina SimpsonGlenn & anne Potter

This is one of our favorite places, but in the last 2 or 3 years the condition of the cabin has deteriorated. Its showing a lot of wear, and could use a some maintenance.

Everything was perfect. Only comment would be that another camp chair or two on front porch would be nice.

Cabin was clean. Fishing was good. There were road closures in the area. I think that a notification would have been helpful on the cabin reservation site.

Cabin was everything we wanted and expected. I would like to make several suggestions: 1. Have a true lottery system for booking this facility. Also impose a two(2) year moratorium on any person who does get lucky to get a reservation. Looking at the registration book in the cabin reveals several people who get the cabin every year. My friends and I have tried for the last eight years and finally were able to lock on a reservation. How are they getting the cabin every year? 2. Get rid of all of the Teflon coated pots and pans and just have steel cookware. These can be purchased from any second hand store. 3. Make sure that all lights are functioning in the cabin or have a supply of bulbs for the cabin. 4. Make sure that information given out about the cabin is correct. i.e. we were told that there were 2 twin twin beds when in reality there was a twin and a double instead. Overall, the cabin was very good with the minor issues noted above.

It was 36 degrees when we arrived and all the windows were open. The main heater would not run for more than two or three minutes. Decided not to spend another cold night. We were refused a refund. No es bueno.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
