We loved this campground and so did our dog. Played in the water. Arrived on a Wednesday about 4 pm, left Thursday later AM. Traveling through. The host was friendly and bathrooms very clean, not smelly. Dry campground with swimming and boat launch. Did not use generator, slight breeze in the evening off lake, had windows open. No shade though. Its beautiful with mountains and lake that surround the campground. 8 other campers there out of 33 sites. Its about 15 minute drive on dirt road off the main highway. Well worth the $18 and we will go back again.

We host an annual camping trip for about 75 family members, and this was the 5th of 7 years that we have been at White Earth and hope to be back next year. The spot is perfect for our extended family - it gives everyone room to spread out but still be close.The pavilion near the water is perfect so those who want to be in the water can and those who want to be in the shade can - and everyone is still close and together.The host was great this year.

Very clean site, Bob runs a tight ship, one of the cleanest bathroom facilities seen.

I have camped here several times this year. This is a very clean and well maintained campground. Bob the camp host always swings by to greet me with a big smile and a fun conversation. He is always doing rounds making sure the bathrooms and grounds are very tidy. Thanks Bob.

Camp host was great. Sites to the south were not as level as those in the northern loop. We just did a quick overnight, so only walked on the beach. It was a good place to launch boats and kayaks. Our dog enjoyed the light surf. We will return if we are back in the area.

Nice campground at the lake. Little moskitos. We enjoyed to take a bath in the lake. There is a short gravel road to the campground.

We have dogs and as requested. We kept them tied up but people kept cutting through our campsite and not only our campsite, but the people we were with. Then complained about the dogs. My mother-in-law was changing and looked out the window and there was 2 people standing in her campsite!

Numerous dogs unleashed running around. Huge Rottweiler in spot next to us. He was leashed but he would lunge and growl and bark every time a person walked by. I was uneasy about walking on the road due to the number of unleaded dogs. I counted 6 at one time. The camp host did not seem to mind the unleashed dogs he drive by several times and didnt stop. We will not return to this campground.

Amazing vistas! Campground was empty. Bob, campground host was great. No shade which wasnt an issue when we were there but could be in the heat of summer. One if the best places we camped at

We enjoyed our time there. Would be nice to have a better place to dock boats. The hosts were very good doing an excellent job.

This is our 4th time at the White Earth campground and by far the best experience we have had with a camp host. Josh (I apologize if I got his name wrongs - younger man from TX) was incredible.He was available when needed, polite and approachable. He kept the bathroom clean and the garbage taken care of.We host an annual family reunion of about 13 camp sites and swell to about 75 for our big picnic on Saturday. We will rebook for next year and hope to see Josh back again as well.

We love this little campground! This year the weeds around the campsites near the water were quite high - a little weed eating would have been nice :)Beautiful weather tho and lots of fun beach time. Thanks for keeping it open for us weekenders!

No Camp host this year. It’s kind of a free for all down there now. We camp here multiple times every year and this year wasn’t great.

First we got there and someone was in our spot! First we couldn't find them and then when we did they didn't want to move! So I attempted to make several phone calls to several different numbers. I left messages with all of them and got no reply back from anyone. After getting the people to move from our spot they left a mad! There was no campground host all weekend. And the dumpsters were overflowing and smelled very bad. The memories sure could have been better. Thank god for my family and grandchildren!

I’m gonna start off with the positive1st, it’s very beautiful there! The mountain range with the lake is quite wonderful. Now with the negative, when I showed up there, it was very busy. The park never got quiet, even after 10 o’clock, noisy campers until midnight. 6 AM over 30 boats drove by a top speed, and noisy morning neighbors/campers. Maybe this reflects going on the weekend, I’d recommend trying it during the week. But it was like being an amusement park. Now I worked a long shift the day before, and drove all day the day before that so all I wanted was peace and quiet. I woke up the next morning and I canceled for the first time my second night. For the park, the spots are very close by and there’s no coverage, there’s literally you’re very close to the next camper or tent. I’ll have to say they do have decent bathrooms besides having a lock on the outdoor which was weird to me. I’ve been to almost a dozen campsites, and I’ve never had that before. I think that it was only worth my time and money to see the view of the mountain rage. There’s tons of other great parks in Montana, so I will not be returning. I hope you have a better experience and you can’t win them all:)

Bathrooms were clean, the entire campground was kept clean from garbage and it was quiet. No shade, but nice campground anyway! We liked the boat dock at the launch.

Very nice and attended campgrounds clear sky there. One thing that I stayed close to the trash area due to the warmth weather I could smell the rotten garbage. That’s all

This campground is a convenience for me as I like to camp and fish without traveling from home. I really do appreciate the "volunteer" camp hosts. They always keep the cans clean. My only beef would be is that they seem to be very concerned about the grass that was dead or dying. My wife was told to move her truck because it was parked on the grass! All of one tire!!! She moved it over slightly to appease the grass cop. I get it. Now, when we pulled the boat over to the ramp, we noticed 2 trucks with empty trailers completely on the grass right next to the camp hosts RV! WT?? My observations..... 1. The weeds are out of control and makes it hard to see the edge of the parking area and are good cover for snakes (ya, there are rattlesnakes out there). 2. Any grass the crawls into the graveled parking area should not be considered Bonafide endangered species that warrants a ticket from the grass cop. 3. The parking areas really do need to be a bit wider to accommodate 2 rigs comfortably next to each other. Just my thoughts.

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
