Our 3 night stay was great. The bathrooms were cleaned regularly, friendly staff and having a sewer at each site is a bonus. Close enough to Poplar Bluff for food/fuel.

Reserved S02 for a childrens party. Everything went as planned. Fun playground, water and electric hookups worked just fine. We did notice that they didnt actually hang a sign or any notice that the pavilion had been reserved but it wasnt a problem. Only actual complaint was the very large amount of garbage, which we were very much aware of as we follow the scout code and leave it better than we found it. We spent quite a while cleaning up the leftovers of a water balloon fight. If a clean location matters to you, I recommend a different location or arriving early to clean up. Otherwise it really is a great spot.

Campsite 32 - Sites were a bit close and the concrete pad was covered in mud/rocks upon arrival. Two rains resulted in more mud/rocks deposited on the concrete and all over my camping equipment (power cord, sewer line, water line, tires, wheel chocks and large camping mat.

There was vary little chat on the campsite so when rained campsite stayed muddy

We have been going camping for 43 years now, and this campground ranks right at the top. Very clean, spacious camp spots. We were in a tent this time and the campground was really quiet, our spot was spacious and love the shade trees. Water was right at the site. Bathroom / shower was increadiably clean. Can't wait to go back.

Tornado Warning goes off as we pull into the campground. Host was so helpful to tell us where to go and what to do! Really enjoyed our stay.

Very quiet and friendly campground. Sites are spacious and most have shade. Camp host went above and beyond. Other campgrounds could benefit from such professional and accommodating hosts.

Good campground but sites tend to be muddy or dirty after rain on several of them

Traveling in a motorhome. Quite clean park with paved roads and sites. We had a full hook up site. Campground is well above the lake , can look down thru the trees to see it but can't access. Lake access about a mile down the road.Stayed at the west side campground as the east side was still closed due to construction.Did not use bath facilities so no comment on that. Ice cream and burger shop just down from gate along with a Dollar General.Over-all nice campground and would stay here again.

We camped 5 days in a 43' fifth wheel. Site #16 plenty long enough you don't have to stay connected if you don't want to. We love this area. Full hookups but no TV service unless you have internet and use a streaming service. The road going down from site 16 to the trash dumpster needs some rocks filled in where its eroding from water running down the road and campers cutting across the curve.

Trash cans should be provided when pavilions are rented. Who thinks to bring trash cans when planning an event and Hand soap in the restrooms.

10 out of 10! Came for eclipse,everything was great. The only downside was 10pm curfew but we went out and about on foot until 2am, was seen by officers etc but not stopped or bothered at all. Great price, water/electric hookups and nice bath house. Also all the park staff was SUPER nice! Will be making the 6hr drive back again!

Nice park. Nice stay. A little road noise. We had 50A plug issue. Park personnel fixed the next day on a Sunday. We were impressed. We would stay here again.
@CarltonWDE170E · Camped on Apr 5, 2024 at Campsite #I01
Excellent area! The only issue was lots of confusion where to find parking tags, we had to drive to three locations in part because the park staff were not sure what to do.
@AliceG5405700 · Camped on Apr 5, 2024 at Campsite #22
We went here for the eclipse and will definitely be back. Nicely spaced campsites, full hookups, great playground, and absolutely spotless bathrooms.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
