Cape Fair Campground in Stone county is located 1 hr 4 min southwest of Springfield, MO with an elevation of 954 feet. There are a total of 82 campsites. The campground is normally open from the beginning of April to the end of October. 80 sites can accommodate RVs between 10 and 72 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. 46 sites have electric and water hookups. 22 sites have electric hookups. Fees range from $16.00 to $50.00. Some amenities include shower, dump station, playground, boat ramp, swimming, marina, flush toilets. Activities include biking, boating, fishing, hiking trails, floating sports.

Park itself was lovely and distancing between sites was wonderful.Nice to stay in a campground where Quiet Time was observed and campers did not feel the need for loud music or excessive campsite lighting in the evening. Glorious area to observe the nighttime skies.An excellent stay, we will be back!

Our site was relatively level and had a great view of the lake. Shower houses were clean and typical but could sure use a bench for dry items and more hooks on the wall. The picnic table was down steps from the parking pad for our camper making it a bit nerve racking in the dark. Cape Fair is a pretty quiet part of the lake and that's just fine with us. If you like hiking the Piney Wilderness Area is relatively close. Shell Knob has a great sub sandwich shop called the SubMarina. It's just past the Pizza Hut across the bridge on the left. Great sandwiches and they are HUGE!

Cape Fair is my favorite campground. I.t always has a spot available for me I have my favorite spots and I'll continue coming back Time after Time .

Wonderful place to camp with plenty to do in the area. Great restaurant at the campground. The only things I would recommend for improvement is painting the bathrooms/shower rooms, adding a drop down seat to sit on and to place a few extra hooks to hang clothes on.

Very nice campground on beautiful Table Rock Lake. We enjoyed the swim beach and rented a pontoon at the marina for a day. Staff at the marina were great. Had a nice dinner at nearby Flat Creek restaurant one night.

Clean camp sites and showers/restrooms. Quiet, comfortable. Fall and spring are good times to go.not as crowded.

Found early September summer rush over. Very peaceful. RV site on cove. Get hot with sun. Enjoyed under trees. Nice old shower facilities. Over all everything kept very clean. Kids play ground and swimming area into the cove 10/10 morning mist sweet

The person working the booth was very helpful. She showed me how to change my campsite in the app to a different one that had become available. Very friendly and knowledgeable.

All sites are pretty private and have views of the water. The grounds are clean and well kept. The swimming area looked fun , even just watching kids play. It was a lovely and relaxing .

Cape Fair has always been our favorite campground. Finally got site 21 and loved it. Hosts have always been extremely nice.

We were in site 8. Great views of the lake. There is a very nice swimming area that has easy access. There is Plenty of shade. Campground was very clean. We have ATT and the WIFI was basically non existent. Could hardly connect at all. Not sure if it was because of the storm they had earlier in the week or if it is like that all the time. Our only issue with site 8 is that it shares with site 9 and can be really tight trying to get in the spot if another camper is already set up in 9. They are both pull through/ back in (because they share). We were happy that we got their before those using site 9 and glad they left before us otherwise we would not have had the room to back our truck up to hook up to our camper. Overall, I would stay there again. But, maybe choose a different site because of the tight space. However, we do prefer pull through over back in, still learning that part of camping :-)

Wow! I was there on July 3rd when the storm hit the marina and campground. We left early on the 4th because of the storm but Im so impressed with the speed that help came in and started cleaning up the mess. Im sure the campground was probably cleaned up by the end of the day and the electric service came back on by 9 am. This is always a nice campground and what an experience it was riding out a tornado in a camper, not one Id ever like to repeat but this is a great campground.

Campsites were not as clean as in the past as well as the bathrooms. The cleaning attendants were more interested in entertaining their relatives that were in the campsite next to us.

The campground cleaning attendant did an excellent job and was friendly. Campground was cleaned of trash/litter everyday and bathhouses were very clean. Great work!
