Highway K Campground in Iron county is located 57 min southwest of Farmington, MO with an elevation of 570 feet. There are a total of 81 campsites. The campground is normally open from the beginning of April to mid September. 80 sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 12 and 96 feet. All sites are currently reservable. 20 sites have electric and water hookups. 34 sites have electric hookups. Fees range from $14.00 to $50.00. Some amenities include shower, dump station, playground, restroom, flush toilets. Activities include fishing, floating sports.

We loved our site, A14. It was the perfect spot for a tent (we were the only tent by the way! lol). Highway K is always so clean and well maintained. And campers are some of the best people around! We floated and had a great time too! Highway K is where we come all the time. Can't wait for our next trip!!

It is a shame that the upper campgrounds are not available to some campers. It is apparently restricted to tent and pop up. The restriction should be by length of camper. My 24 ft. camper easy to manage at these sites. There were very few staying up at these sites but all lower was packed. It is hard enough to get a stay anywhere these days. K west was packed.

Their remodel of the bathrooms on the east side of the river was a disaster. Before, there were about 4 showers & 2 toilets on each side, so double that altogether. Now there are a total of 4 rooms, each containing a toilet & a shower. So while someone's taking a shower, nobody can use the toilet. About 2 of them have benches to put your stuff on, 2 don't. There is no soap in the bathrooms, which I would assume is against the law. The ventilation is terrible, so they're always unbearably hot.

Wonderful campgrounds on the river. Campsites were all clean, Im guessing previous campers policed the grounds. Definitely returning.

Highway K Campground is a family favorite and we've been camping here for 22 years. We like the close proximity to Black River, we spend much of our time at the river. The campground is nice, clean facility and is perfect for our large extended family as a family reunion hub for a week's worth of family camping.

Campground is really a good ways from the world outside. The smaller campground with water at each campsite is nice, but wish it had sewer hookup too. Campground is conveniently located next to the river so a short walk will have you sitting wading or playing in the cool water on a hot summers day. Great get away location.Never saw the campground host during our stay, but there was no need either.Campground is close to an outfitter for that float down the river as well.All in all a very nice corp campground you will like it!

When we arrived at K18 there were 2 holes that was dug probably by children. My husband had to fill them so we wouldn't step into them and hurt our ankles. Some of our group spots faucets were in need of repair.

Always our favorite. Corps needs to spend some time/resources on site upkeep and maintenance. Don't put it off, it'll cost more in the long run!

Our spot, you had to climb up a wet embankment to plug camper in to electric and was too far away to plug in also unless you had a long extension, which we didnt. Had it reserved for 2 nights left after first night. Wont be going back. Told brother about experience and the spot they had reserved for a different date they wouldnt be able to back there camper into because of it being too straight in,so they cancelled their reservations for a different date.

Too much traffic noise at this site from the nearby road, including people obviously hot dogging.The showers were pretty grungy -- bring your flip flops.Kids riding bikes and scootwrs absolutely everywhere -- be careful!

We had such a great stay, nice level sites site 9 and 10 is where we stayed. We especially enjoyed the access to the river. Being able to take the truck to the rock bar was super cool.
