I called to double check what the expected late night arrival procedures was, and the person who answered the phone, I believe Caroline was her name, was incredibly helpful. Clean grounds, bathrooms were clean, and arrival was seamless. I look forward to camping out in my van again

Park rangers were fantastic, not all restrooms have showers, but they do exist. Bathrooms are slightly outdated, but that's somewhat to be expected, they are functional though. Would definitely stay again. It was great to commute into the city. Would definitely recommend.

Well maintained and a perfect basecamp to make a long march into the nation's capital and protest. First Amendment! A good march (hike) route is Kenilworth to Bladensburg to West Virginia. Incredible!

Poorly maintained trails. Trees blocking access. Garbage left in campsite which I had to clean up.

Great stay, hot shower, super helpful camp host and clean facilities. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. A very good deal for $20 per night.

We stay at Greenbelt at least twice yearly as we travel to DC or further south. We enjoy the park's tranquillity and close proximity to the Metro. We do not like, however, the poor condition of the bathroom in Loop B. While fairly clean, the bathroom is in significant need of repairs. It's shabby without being g chic! Would highly recommend a stay at Greenbelt with the above caveat.

U need electric hook up at least especially during winter time The no generator after 10 rule makes it difficult to stay warm

Best kept secret for Washington Camping and RVS. There is a dump, great and helpful personal. There are trails and fresh potable water, excellent location for visiting the region. Baltimore, DC, and Annapolis are within a 45 minute drive.

Great location to stay when visiting Washington DC.

Nice quiet park with nice trails. However, roads and restrooms are very dated and need to be replaced. Cleaning and maintenance of restrooms was also not very good.

Nice park convenient location. Was hoping to get a hot shower in the morning ( 45 degrees) however the windows in the bathhouse were wide open and there was no heat.

This is great campground that I would recommend my own issue is the negative random night activities that take place. The park police do ride through occasionally at night but, it should be better supervised at night.

Although the park as a whole is an amazing oasis (compared to the surrounding area), when the heck are the roads in the campsite area going to be repaired? I mean, WOW! For some reason, I thought the funds generated from campsite fees get invested back into the campgrounds???

Interior loop roads full of potholes.Dumpsters overflowing.Bathrooms very limited and in very poor condition, not well maintained.The park and staff were very lovely.

Great camping site and amazing people! Thank you for being so nice!

Park Ranger staff were very friendly and informative. The park was a beautiful place to visit in Autumn. Hot showers were available in a building close to our campsite. There would be a perfect 5 star rating if the Dump Station was useable on our departure. However 4 out of 5 stars is very good.

1. The Campsites set up configurations seem to be well thought out and organized. Well done.2. There's plenty of available Firewood throughout the campground, however I'm not sure enough information was given or understood about gathering it for the campsite.Ex: Since the Firewood is truly available, Are campers free to cut (with their own responsible tools) sizeable wood pieces for their campfires? etc.

We came for a weekend getaway, from inside DC. We enjoyed hiking, and the playground, and hanging out at our campsite. The bathrooms were fine. Staff were helpful and friendly. The dump station worked. What more could you want?

Always a surprise to find this haven in the woods right off the greenbelt. Ni

Really nice campground, no hookups but spacious spots. Some wierd spots along the road like people camping on the road. Very few level spots and none I saw had pads. Very rustic. The park is very rural looking and HUGE but right in the middle of plenty of business and near highways. The metro stop to get to DC is only 14 min away with plenty of parking.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
