Twin lakes was a great place to camp. There were a lot of options for tents, it was very shaded, and quiet. The atv learner loop was also a big hit. We will definitely come back again

We had a great time staying here. I would probably stay here again. It is nice to have a few days without service to really unplug and enjoy nature. It was a very pretty, wooded area with a couple trail heads for hiking. The lake was also a cool little spot, I definitely wouldnt swim in it but it was a fantastic fishing spot.The campsite was great as well, fun little area and spacious for 6 people + a big dog. Had good shade and the fire pit area was clean. I will say the downsides were the immense amount of flies and the few cow pies from the Cows that roamed around.

Excellent site, fit our 25' toy hauler perfectly. Site was clean, well maintained. We were the only ones there during the week and it was so peaceful. ATV practice loop was fun. Great access to the SxS from the campground. Intermittent 5G and 2 bars LTE with t-mobile but NOT at the site. Group site across from host and the trailhead would randomly get service. But we wanted to get away!

Well. Its called twin lake. And when I pull up the app w limited service whilst in mammoth its pretty misleading. Would be great to differentiate. Didnt want to go to bridgeport

Grasshoppers are everywhere the ground looks like it moves all day long, but in the evening, they all disappear but then come back the next day. Its nature and they are not annoying. This is a fine campsite, including the grasshoppers.

Picking a campsite online is like looking at real estate listing. The picture is taken just so, the sun is just right, ect. We got lucky at Twin Lakes campground. The site was perfect! Plenty of room for the trailer. Site was centrally located so access to trails was a breeze. Also, fairly close to town, which was good because there is no cell service or internet in the campground. There were flies, but nothing compared to Marysvale! I would stay here again.

This location is beautiful and the camp ground was pretty much empty which was nice. The Twin Lakes is really one small pond the rest has been dried up. And is a meadow now. Do not go up thinking the maps representation is correct. Other small lakes and reservoirs along the canyon road have either dried up or been drained. It was hot but we were thankfully for the shaded camp sites, they all had great shaded areas. There is only one bathroom at the entrance but it was very clean! The biggest downside were the flies, they were everywhere and no big spray could keep them away! Bring a bug netting for your hangout areas. And bring your own tables as there are no picnic tables in the camp sites at all. It was pretty but with how out of the way it was and the lack of close activities we won’t be back.

We had 18 people, adults and children at the group site. It wasn’t quite what I expected. There wasn’t any shade in the main part of the campground. The water level in the lake was extremely low, which is sad. We renamed it Leech Lake! Do not get in it unless you are on a kayak. I think the individual camp sites would have been better. The bathrooms were clean and didn’t stink! We will stay in the Manti La Sal area again but not this location.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
