Littcarr Campground, Sassafras, KY

Littcarr Campground in Knott county is located 1 hr 54 min northwest of Kingsport, TN with an elevation of 1,050 feet. There are a total of 45 campsites. The campground is normally open from the beginning of April to mid October. Sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 30 and 54 feet. All sites are currently reservable. All sites have electric and water hookups. Fees range from $24.00 to $30.00.

Beautiful campground. Eastern Kentucky was hit by a flash flood. No one came around to warn us of the impending disaster. I haven't been able to get to my car or equipment for 2 weeks due to the campground flooding. There needs to be better disaster management at this site.

Only problem is that the pull through would not accommodate a motorhome pulling a car. We had to removed the car on a very long night of travel, but on the plus side, the manager was very helpful and so were the campers, so we came out OK. Just don't expect that the pull-though will accommodate a towed vehicle and a 30 ft motorhome

Very NICE place. Absolutely love the showers. The sites (30-35)were a bit small. But we adjusted. Overall very pleasant place. Didn’t get to play horseshoes. They also had church Saturday evening and Sunday morning. Very enjoyable place to stay

Beautiful , well kept ground's. Clean restrooms and showers. Spacious showers...much appreciated ! Friendly people always at the office. Just a very pleasant place to camp. Definitely one of my favorite places to camp.

Very nice facility. Very friendly staff. Only want to make note to future campers. There is no WIFI in the campground. Some will be glad. For me, I use WIFI when away from home. The bath house I used was very nice. However, one shower stall had no hooks or bench. The other had only one hook and a bench. Neither had a curtain between the shower and dressing area. Had to be careful not to spray water on the bench in the dressing area. I was able to adjust, but, could be made for a better experience with a couple of hooks and a curtain. $15 fix. Would I stay here again? Yes. Now that I know what to expect I would be better prepared.

Love this campground. Sites are level and clean. Did have some mud to deal with but there had been a lot of rain just days prior to our arrival. Staff are always friendly. Beautiful campground

Avoid spot 10b! Impossible to get into. It is on a steep hill on a curve. Another spot was open, thank goodness. I like the campground , it is quiet and clean.

We only stayed one night in anticipation of spending a week next summer. Very clean, very efficient staff and friendly. Beautiful place to wake up in the morning and see the beauty of nature in the area. Love this campground.

Nice, friendly, quiet campground. Great host at the entrance. Friendly fellow campers, with many locals staying there. We were passing through on an extended journey and would use this campground again if in the area.

The camp ground was clean and quiet. Bathrooms and shower was clean. If you have children they have nice play grounds. Close to the lake for fishing.

The campground is nice, a bit close to the road but overall a pleasant place to camp with access to the lake for fishing. We hoe to return for another visit when it is not as warm and less rain.
