The campground is in the trees and some sites have a lot of privacy. There is a hiking trail and amphitheater. We stayed on our way to Grand Canyon which worked out great for us (about an hour from the north rim). The hosts were super helpful & friendly; and worked with us to stay an extra night. Vault toilets and fire pits.

We have stayed here several times, the sites are not sitting on top of each other, the vault toilets were always clean. The Jacob Lake Inn is a fun place with good food and cookies. The visitors center is close and can provide a lot information about the area.

Excellent camping spot, host was very helpful and accommodating. Enjoyed dining at Jacob Lake Inn. Staff is very friendly, food is excellent and be sure to pick up some cookies from the bakery!

One of favorite spots. Very quiet. Rules are enforced. Nice host.

The campground was very nice and well taken care of. Bathroom was spotless. Our criticism is the rule allowing generator use starting at 6 am and ending at 10 pm. Every morning we were awake at 6 am listening to our neighbors' very loud generators. In fact at another campground (Kaibab Lake) our neighbor ran a generator the entire time period. Every day.

This campground is so lovely and VERY clean!! The absolute nicest pit toilets Ive seen for sure. The scenery was beautiful and the camp hosts were so friendly! Only downside was theres some road noise.

We stayed here for only one evening, though we have stayed here several times in the past. As always the pit toilets are the cleanest we have experienced. In past visits, its been a great place to relax after a trip to the north rim.

Very clean, fresh and family friendly or solo atmosphere. The Camp host and maintenance personnel, Melissa and Jon, were very accommodating and professional. The hiking trails are breathtaking! This parks proximity to tourist attractions such as Lees Landing and the Grand Canyon are also a plus in my book. The quiet nights and star gazing make for a peaceful wind down in the evenings as well. We will definitely be back!

Very nice dry-camping experience. The campground is well-maintained. We stayed during weekdays in July and its not busy. We had solar panels on the roof of our motorhome and were able to charge the batteries throughout the day despite pine trees all around the campsite. There was good T-Mobile signals at the campground.

We enjoyed our time at Jacob Lake very much. The campground was clean, quiet, uncrowded though a little dusty. Toilet facilities were immaculate and well lit after dark. Campground hosts were friendly as were nearby campers. Jacob Lake is a good home base for day trips into the North Rim.

Campground clean and easy to navigate. Seems like hosts could be more available as frequently had off duty sign up.

Great campground! We stayed on #51 in a 26' Travel Trailer. Great site, level close to water and restroom and plenty of shade. No water, electric or dump station so plan ahead. This was one of our favorite stops this summer. Hosts were available and helpful with info about the area. Will come back anytime we can!

The campground is clean and pretty quiet for being next to the road. Turns out the road isnt that busy. There is a nice, short trail out into the forest from the campground. Hosts are friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

The host John and Melissa are some of the nicest people around. They made sure the entire camp area was spotless and the bathrooms were very clean.

Once again, on our second stay at Jacob Lake, we enjoyed our two night stay. We especially enjoyed both the privacy provided at the RV site and the proximity to the North Rim.

We loved the group camp site that we booked, aside from the fact that there were so many pinecones we had to take away with our feet in order to set up tents. Our group had a great time!

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
