First time campers so nothing to compare to. Very quiet and peaceful campground. Clean bathrooms. Two small playgrounds with volleyball/grass area. Train came by once through the night and was not an issue. We explored wild cat den during the day and it was very nice to be close by after.

Very pleasant people. Nice view of the river and barges. Very nice shower rooms. All in all, a very pleasant and relaxing experience. Would highly recommend this campground.

A notice on water quality would have been helpful

The park and site were okay, not great. We stayed only one night as we were told the well water was contaminated after we filled our tank and got set up.

As usual, the trains were a little noisy but to be expected. was very friendly and helpful and restrooms/ showers were clean. Water was easily accessible as was the dump station. Will return as we have before.

great site overlooking the river, quiet (except for occasional train). Lots of bird life in the evening.

Nice place, very clean, nice concrete sites, views of the river very nice, most of the site are shaded. My only complaint was the noise from the trains, very close to the campground.

Clarks ferry is one most relaxing camp grounds we have been to. We look at the Mississippi flowing and see wonder.The grounds are always clean and the shower house is always spotless.THA

We really enjoyed the park. The only thing i did not like was the water pressure with the showers. We were right by the river and had a nice view. Saw several bardges go by.

Beautiful place! We traveled 4 1/2 hours to get there and loved out stay. Definitely hoped to be back next summer.

Nice park with beautiful view of the Mississippi. Can get a bit busy and noisy on weekends. The weekday crowds are much more respectful. Would stay again if in the area.

Very nice park. Right on the Mississippi River. Spots 6 & 7 have direct sun which makes it a bit testy with warmer temps but the views of the River are great! Really nice camp host. Would stay there again!

Beautiful smaller COE campgrounds. A quiet area to watch the river and a few barges. A few trains, but to be expected along the river road edge. Host was friendly. Bathrooms and showers were very nice.We will be back when we are in thearea.

Sad to see the Mississippi so low and the camper using water like it doesn't matter.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
