We love coming to Island view and have spent alot of time there this summer. The complaints that I have are that the cleaners are not doing a good job in the shower houses. I have watched their short visits and never saw them power wash anything. The new shower on the west holds water on the floor and makes it impossible to stay dry while getting dressed. It also needs some kind of benches for dressing. On the first dump station one of the hoses needs replaced because it has a hole that causes water to spray all over. Lastly, the east side badly needs mowed, before the growth hindered the view of the beautiful lake. I also want to brag up the 3 ladies that check us in . We have enjoyed knowing them and have had many nice conversations with them. Everyone loves the ideas of Christmas in July and halloween in September. These kinds of activities make the campground a special place to be.

Only complaint would be that the camper prior to out visit must have left 100 cigarette butts in and around the camfire ring. I picked them up but, YUCK

Very easy to reserve. Excellent location. Everyone had a good time. I did have to bring my hose and scrub brush to try to wash all the bird poop off of the floor area in the shelter so that we could move the tables so everyone would have a place to sit. I realize that it had rained but it would have looked so nice had the grass been mowed. Definately consider renting again.

Love camping at Island view Campground Lake Rathbun, Iowa. Plenty of distance between camping sites. Enjoy the swimming beach. Would recommend this to everyone.

Beautiful campground on the lake. We were there midweek so very quiet. My only minor complaint was the distance to a shower house as there was not one in our loop. We used our RV shower but others may need it. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Bathrooms were not cleaned and did not have toilet paper.We also spent 4 nights in the group site that Thursday through Sunday nights and it was the same, bathrooms not cleaned and no toilet paper. Thank goodness the park rangers had some rolls to give us! We have been camping there for decades and it has never been this bad. Hopefully it will get resolved.

| 51-100 Moderate Air quality is acceptable; however, for some pollutants there may be a moderate health concern for a very small number of people who are unusually sensitive to air pollution. |
| 101-150 Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups Members of sensitive groups may experience health effects. The general public is not likely to be affected. |
| 151-200 Unhealthy Everyone may begin to experience health effects; members of sensitive groups may experience more serious health effects. |
| 201-300 Very Unhealthy Health warnings of emergency conditions. The entire population is more likely to be affected. |
