I'm reluctant to share my wonderful experience at this Campground.It's for season campers, not newbies. It's very light and quiet, and most of it is well-spaced out. If you come to a party, this isn't Campground for you. It is not suited for RVs or big trailers.Dennis and his wife, Terry, run a well-kept campground with clean bathrooms. They take pride in their work and don't tolerate any tomfoolery. Thanks be to God! This is in my top favorite campgrounds.

This is a beautiful, well designed campground. The setting could not be better. My only issue is that some of the sites that can be reserved for trailers cant actually accommodate a trailer. We have a 20 ft trailer and had reserved site #33. I tried several approaches but the road is just too narrow to unwind the turn that was necessary to back the trailer in. I finally gave up and drove over the the camp managers site and explained the situation. They were extremely helpful and were able to find us an available site where we could get the trailer in. They epitomized excellent customer service!If you are camping here with a travel trailer, do not reserve site #33. The manager told me a number of people have trouble getting a trailer in there if they are towing with a full size pickup.

Beautiful and peaceful campgrund right on rock creek. Some nice, private sites, clean bathrooms, and camp hosts were wonderful.

Personally wont recommend site 33 as its super tight. We also found it hard to set up our tents on the slope.

East Fork Campground in the Inyo National Park is the most beautiful campground our family has ever stayed in. We had a family reunion there last week and had a truly wonderful time! We all agreed that our camp host, Terri Huff and her husband were one of the reasons this camp felt so friendly and neighborly!We rode bikes, went on hikes, and played in the creek. A short drive (or bike ride) up the road is the truly gorgeous Rock Creek Lake. Though it was verrrry cold, we all jumped in! We all enjoyed a wonderful afternoon at the Rock Creek Lakes Resort listening to a oldies rock-n-role music concert and amazing peach cobbler with ice cream and a fine beer.We also went twice to Wild Willies natural hot springs a short drive North on 395 with a beautiful full moon 1/4 mile walk.We all agreed this was a must do again trip!

Great campground hosts each year. Sites are clean, restrooms real nice and clean as well.

Accommodating campground hosts helped us extend our stay (our original trip plans were affected by the Park Fire). Great hikes from the campground to the Rock Creek Lodge and Rock Creek Resort, but the best hike is through Little Lakes Valley, at the end of the road.

Beautiful campground with pines and Aspen trees and a lovely creek running through it. Many hiking trails close by. Campground hosts were friendly and always on top of things.

East Fork CG is a great centralized location to explore the Eastern Sierra. The campground has some beautiful sites along Rock Creek as well as having sites that accommodate a variety of camping options.

The large campground has many sites near the river, with lots of trees. These are more popular, with more noise and smoke from evening campfires in neighboring sites. Most have moderate-length driveways for parking, with generous area for setting up tents slightly further down. Numerous bathrooms with flush toilets, well maintained and clean. Many fresh water spiggots as well. Higher up, driveways tend to be longer, and the sites are larger - but many are without trees. These are less popular, but better for people with larger RVs or lots of solar power. Wonderful hikes are nearby, and a dump station is available just a few miles down the road (back towards US-395).

Site 111 at the campground. The campground is well maintained. The sites are spread out with ample space between sites. The bathrooms were clean and in good repair. The camp hosts were informative and helpful.

We brought a group of young men from our church to come visit a place that they could experience the great outdoors. The location was wonderful and the camp hosts Terry and Dennis were great! They were helpful and accommodating and we could not have had such a great experience without their help. The facilities were some of the cleanest I have personally experienced. None of our group had been there before but many of us will be brining our families back.

Dennis Hauff, one of the park rangers for the summer of 2024, and his wife, were super helpful and welcoming when I stayed for a week. The campsite was clean and ready for my arrival. Bathrooms were cleaned daily and a water station was near my site. This campground is remote enough that I get the solitude away from technology that I am seeking, there's a creek nearby that you can hear from just about every campsite which presents a calming over oneself, and just being among the trees and all things nature, it's a great campground. The campground is just a short drive to Bishop or Mammoth, and of course there's Tom's Place at the turn off for any last minute things you might need(ice). Little Lakes Valley is just a short distance up the road and that provides ample hiking and exploring. Rock Creek Canyon is an amazing place to spend some quality time away from the city and East Fork is the perfect campground to stay at.

Camp site was very uneven, only really one spot for a small tent. No shade in campsite at all so bring a canopy. Overall the campsite was in a beautiful location and the restrooms were super nice and super clean. And the dense bushes around this campground made it feel super secluded and there was no noise from other campers. The stream was lovely, it gave us a perfect white noise for when we were sleeping.

The campground was amazing but five stars really go to Terri and Dennis, the campground hosts! They were absolutely wonderful! Terri was helpful on the phone when booking the reservation, and actually happened to greet us at our spot as we arrived! She was informative about the campground, and went above and beyond to coordinate/recommended a day of spot change to one that was magnificent and by the creek!Water. Clean flush toilet bathrooms. Quiet campground. A hiking trail that runs along Rock Creek and all the way to the lake (or drive), an easy hiking trail if you have kids who are wanting to meander their way through nature.We will be coming back!

My wife and I loved the location. The location along Rock Creek is in a ravine so it is nestled between 2 gorgeous mountain ranges. These ranges provide shade in the morning and evening for the campsite that are more exposed to the sun. Ours had no shade, but our canopy worked nicely and the ample sun charged our solar panels. Most people fishing were unsuccessful as most of the fish were too small to keep. The best fishing seemed to be at the lake. We tried a few other creeks closer to Mammoth Lakes and had better luck. The site was amazingly quiet. After 10:00, we didn't hear any noise throughout the night. The bathrooms were cleaned daily and not heavily used. Overall, our 4 days were terrific.

Very comfortable campground, tucked into a sheltered valley along the creek. The hosts do a great job keeping the sites and the restrooms clean. Nice access to the lake just up the road.

I return every year to celebrate my birthday, I wouldnt want to be anywhere else The campground is beautiful and peaceful. The bathrooms are kept clean but its really up to the campers to clean up after themselves (someone pooped on the floor one day). Theres a bitter old lady working as one of the camp managers, avoid her. Theres a very aggressive dog at another camp manager site, avoid them if you have a dog. But, you know what, in spite of our recent experience I am looking forward to next year!

besides East Fork being beautiful and fairly private, it must be said that the camp host, Dennis, is outstanding. He always has time for you, always has a smile, always helps in any way he can. Plus! The restrooms are always super clean!!

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
