We loved Riley creek. The sites are clean and pretty level, the walkways are all paved and it was very clean. The only downfall was people thinking rules don't apply to them when it comes to their dogs. Several were kept on the campsite without a leash and the workers didn't seem to want to address this. Otherwise, awesome campground.

Tom our camp host was amazing! From his kindness to his knowledge of the fishing in the area we really appreciated his time. We even watched him help some teens with their fishing set ups. As always, the campground was amazing. Will be returning for years to come

I have stayed at hundreds of campgrounds/RV parks and Riley Creek is tied for first place. Beautiful park with huge sites. Great rangers and programs for kids.

Campsites are full hookups, easy to back into with our 26 trailer. On a peninsula off river. Lots of shade tucked under beautiful pines. Loved they have a dog park peninsula where dogs can swim and play with picnic tables. Dogs not allowed on beach which we liked. Lots of campers that vacation a week here with young families. Campers have access to recreational area - playground, boat launch, beach, volleyball court, pavilion, fishing dock, hiking path. Liked it so much we stayed two nights. We lucked out and could stay two nights moving from site #1 to #7. We will come back and camp here again. Bathrooms and showers were very clean, running water and an area to do dishes outside in a breezeway. They have 4 camp-hosts which were very friendly and make rounds in campgrounds and recreation area often.

We stayed at the Riley Creek Recreation Area, Riley Creek Campground, on July 22, 2024. The location was great, with easy paved access to the park. Our site was gravel and equipped with power and water hookups. Verizon cell coverage was adequate. The park was very busy, but the sites are generally separated by natural vegetation, providing a bit of privacy. This setup is a great model that many high-density campgrounds could benefit from. Overall, it served the purpose for an overnight stay, and we were happy with our experience.

very nice campground to go camping with your family. clean bathrooms and showers . The beach is very nice as well as the boat ramp. very nice camp sites with privacy in between each site. we have been going there for 42 years. i give it a 10 for everything.

Very Nice and large site, Volunteer hosts do a good job . US Army Core needs to put money into paying these kind folks better. Riley Creek is popular so a percentage of non reserved sites would allow campers the opportunity to enjoy on a first come/served basis. Also signs on "handicapped " bathroom/ showers Should show LARGE wheel chair logo to discourage young healthy campers from monopolizing these facilities . Thanks for a great stay !

We have been to this campground for several years now. We always have such a great time! Always clean, family friendly, lots to do! The reservation process could use some help. We had to move halfway through our stay to another site to make our trip the full 5 days we wanted. And the site we moved from remained empty through the remainder of our stay-so we wouldnt have needed to move if people learned to cancel their reservations. Was disappointed to see so many empty/unused sites. I know the campground still gets paid if people show up or not, but so unfortunate for those of us who lose out on spots to people who no show.

I have been camping years and have never found a nicer place than Riley. It was my first time there. HUGE spots, hot showers, clean bathrooms, playground for the Littles, swim beach, boat launch and best of all doggie Island. I will go back for sure.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
