Osprey Campground, Priest River, ID

Osprey Campground is located in the Priest Lake Ranger District of the Idaho Panhandle National Forests (1 hr 31 min north of Coeur d'Alene, ID) with an elevation of 2,524 feet. There are a total of 15 campsites. The campground is normally open from mid May to the end of September. Sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 20 and 64 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Fees range from $26.00 to $28.00.

Great time to camp...post Labor Day. Jim is an excellent host.Recommendation: When I booked originally no sites were close to our friends. When we arrived there was a "no show" in a site closer to them so we moved. Why do I have to pay AGAIN when I already paid for a site. That is not very user friendly...I understand that Jim has to follow YOUR rulesbeverly schoen

tent camping July 23rd and 24th 2024, the shade campsites are nice. There is about 5 feet area where you can get in the water, we went to Luby bay area, the beach is very nice there. There are thousands of bees or flying insects at the campsites which look like bees which made it impossible to eat or prepare any meal there or sit and relax. Shaded tent sites were appreciated. We left the day before our schedule date and not planning to come back there.

This is a great campground with water access. Its kept well and the sites are nice and big with room in between. will definitely return.

This place is a gem the sites are far apart and there arent very many of them. The camp host Tom is back again this year which is great! He keeps the bathrooms spotless and the place always looks neat and orderly. He doesnt put up with much nonsense and sets a calm respectful tone by example.

Gorgeous, spacious waterfront campsites. Bathroom clean and comfortable. Neighbor was too noisy with old generator and then had to listen to his country music all day until... 1am.

The area is beautiful. Great camp site with lots of trees for shade. Restrooms were very clean and orderly. I will be camping again here.

Campground was fantastic! Great spot for tv or tents and right up near the lake. Had our own little private water area. Only downside is the restroom is a bit of a trek with little ones.

Jim, the host, is the most hard working and kind person you will ever meet. He keeps the campground and each site neat and tidy! He collects the garbage several times a day as well as attending to the bathrooms! We love the camp sites, especially those on the water. With only 15 sites it is a rather quiet place! Great trails and close to everything you might need!

We were in site 13 for this trip to Osprey, one of our favorite sites as it is on the water. Our site was clean upon arrival. Jim, the camp host is back and he keeps the bathrooms spotless. We were there during the week so the campground only had 6 sites occupied so it was quiet and everyone was respectful with their generators.

The camp host was very kind and helpful. 006 is not what is pictured, it is on the upper part of the camp spots, not a far walk to the lake though. I went Memorial weekend and the mosquitoes were AWFUL! I actually had to cut my trip short due to them. Lesson learned, this would maybe be more enjoyable toward the end of summer!

Love this campground, quiet, space between the next site, great views of the lake, available firewood, etc. The only downside was that the bathrooms are downright gross. I will leave it at that.
